Wow, GH is fire today. I love how it is all playing out. I hope Willow is found not guilty even though we all know the truth. The web the writers have weaved is so messy and delicious. Kudos to GH 🥳🥳🥳

I will give Nazneen Contractor credit; she's often dreadful, but maybe the more formal atmosphere of the courtroom (and the script) made her very strong today. Turner took Drew apart well.

So, now that Willow has been exposed as Drew's shooter, could we please go one step further and admit she also faked her cancer? Hey, maybe that's how ol' Will can seek redemption! She could pretend she's sick again, so everyone will feel sorry for her and let her off the proverbial hook.

That should be her exit story AFAIC, in a few years. Once backed into a corner she plays the cancer card. Then after she's exposed or about to be, you finally get Who Killed Willow Quartermaine?

What amuses me is how some fans seem to still demand this story end, that Drew or Willow be off the show, etc. But they don't stop watching. These characters are the prime movers (along with the new Michael) and have been for a long time. If not for Mulcahey shaking some of this show from its stasis, we probably wouldn't be here. It's these love/hate characters that keep topping themselves, and the fact that Willow's trajectory has begun to mirror Annie Dutton's from GL (or Kristen's from DAYS, albeit not as extreme), that the show is in a stable place. People are outraged by these characters' behavior but they can't stop watching. That's soaps. Some viewers have forgotten that (or in the case of BTG, you have new viewers learning it for the first time re: Leslie, etc).

Note as well that she gloved up. This was premeditated. I wonder if Michael actually did try to frame her with the gun, or if they both tried to frame each other and it ended up back at Liz's.

Loved the twist that Willow was actually the shooter!

Of all the soaps, GH has been the one most keeping my attention as of late.

Thank You!!!! Willow and Drew have activated half the show. They've generated action for Tracy, Curtis & Prosha, Trina & Kai, Michael, Alexis, Nina, Ava, etc... They even facilitated Erika Slezac's return to soaps.

IMO Drew is a more effective umbrella villain than Sidwell or Cyrus. Seeing Willow go from cute and boring to this Brooke Logan-esq mess is fascinating. Making Drew an arrogant but comical bastard elevated the character from the Jason Morgan copy it was under Billy Miller (RIP) after Steve Burton returned.

I like that Drew/Willow saga doesn't feel endlessly prolonged like the Sonny/Nixon Falls story. New twists keep getting added such as the custody battle, Sasha's gaslighting, Ronnie, and Drew's shooting.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I found that to be too easy. For me finding out Willow shot Drew was like finding out the latest murder on the show was the product of Sidwell, or that Heather Webber was The Hook.

Agreed. 2025 was a good year for GH.

People were fooled because they believe the person who goes on trial on a soap is never the culprit. That's the beauty of it for me, but it only fully works if she gets away with it. The writers also played it very close to the vest on Willow and her motivations for months since the shooting, which made me even more suspicious.

I think EON did a story like this once (Winter Austen), but I haven't watched it and can't speak to the similarities.

Since SOD is already breaking the reveal...lol.

I'm just finishing up Christmas and coming into the new year, but I at least had to mention that I actually liked the Xmas-y scenes that weere on display on GH. There were so many families having moments. And families with people I felt they should have been with or it made sense for them to be with them (except for Sonny in the Q mansion...I did side-eye).

I love that the writers managed to maintain the court issues the week I just finished as well. I enjoyed every moment of Alexis vs the ADA. And I gasped at Portia's affair being exposed on the stand. Brooke Kerr sold that oh so well. Portia might be getting thrown under the bus and everyone AND HER DAUGHTER turning on her, but it's been the story to watch.

Chase getting suspended??? GOOD. Cuz he was low-blowing. Great for the continuing Dante/Chase rift, but he really shouldn't say all of that on the court stand. Hopefully, BLQ gets to lash into him, too, from the looks she was giving.

I finally saw the Britt/Brad scenes and just rolled my eyes. That said...I was happy to see she got the X-mas miracle of getting her license back. Hopefully, the writers will finally progress her back to where she was when she 'died' so people just 'might' get behind her and Jason.

I'm not at all behind Cody and Molly. Sorry. I did like the sweetness of the kissng scene, but I already said how I stand on them. And I respect that Jason set Molly straight at least versus wacky misunderstanding.

TOTALLY HERE for Lucy vs Ava. For a second REAL Ava came out, and I enjoyed so much, I rewinded. Still it was weird to see so many people at Sidwell. Talk about bad guys pivoting...

I loved every moment of Laura in scenes with Lulu.

Meh at Val.

I can't remember the last time a soap did a reveal that I was invested in and didn't know the outcome before watching. At least a decade! Probably much more. I was sure she didn't do it, because she got arrested. Love it. If I'm a juror, since Drew is fine with her, I am too. Not guilty! Alexis killed it in court (oh, I LOVED her paralegal and that folder). And in spite of the reveal, I think Chase was right, lol. The case is weak. I like that Dante is questioning himself. He does have a blind spot for Michael and Sonny.

Katelyn M is amazing. She was great on the stand. Never been a fan of CM but he has been cracking me up with his backseat driver antics and reactions and now the breakdown (but the content of what he was saying was kind of valid?). Unpopular opinion, would be nice if Rory Gibson showed any reaction other than smug face. Hope Willow gets away with it and then gets Michael next. Aunt Liesl would be proud. Interesting getting Gio involved at the last minute, doing something that might have betrayed Michael.

Kind of wild that Michael is nearly implicated in a murder and Sonny is all zen, and Carly and Jason aren't going nuts and having Spinelli frantically hacking every camera in town to find evidence against Willow. Different times.

Oh and Drew's little tantrum on the stand may be one of Cameron Mathison's most effective performances.

Today is the best work I’ve ever seen him do, period, across AMC, GH, or anything else. Embracing Drew’s petty scumbaggery has liberated his acting—not a bad pivot for someone who’s been known more for his abs than his chops for almost 30 years.

Did anyone else crack up when BLQ made a beeline out of the mansion the moment Gio told her Sonny was making chicken piccata?

She was serving Alicia Florrick realness at times.

What an edge-of-your-seat episode.

I can't wait for Drew to find out Willow is the shooter.

I'm sure Willow will get away with it, though, just like every other resident in Port Charles.

It is. I think Alexis had this wrapped up with the Tracy bluff tbh.

I thought it was one of the strongest episodes the show has had in a long while, and one of the stronger weeks. Provided they don't have Trina and Kai blow the whistle before the verdict drops, which would kill some of the power of this reveal IMO and risk closing too many future story avenues.

I think Cameron has been consistently underrated for what he's done with Drew in the last two years. People seem to think he thinks Drew is a hero and is too stupid to get it, or that he thinks he is Drew. He doesn't, he's loving this.

He's a Navy Seal, he's a Congressman, he's a patriot! 🤣

What really made it work is on paper it was mostly true but the context and his performance made it unhinged Jason is a hitman, yet Drew looked like a lunatic there.
