I'd just like to see BTG get a proper multi-year pick-up, and preferably begin purging its tendency towards the B&B/Bell house style MVJ has picked up post-GH, so she can gravitate back to the work she did best in the '90s and 2000s.

For GH what I want is a strong new creative/writing regime. I'll even keep FV if that's not negotiable. He's been very successful at keeping the show afloat so he's probably bulletproof. But I can't see any of that happening there.

BTG: To flesh the characters out more (Naomi, Jacob, Shanice) while toning some down (Eva and Leslie), and give us some workplace drama. I am tired of soaps talking about work and not showing it.

Personally, this is one of the things I appreciate about BTG. The fact they don't. As someone who regularly watches Y&R and B&B, I'm sick of corporate talk by the time BTG comes around. Although I'm okay with a bit at the hospital (because of Nicole, Ted, Shanice) or the police station (Jacob, Eli, Marcel). Just no corporate talk! lol

I really wish soaps would finally catch up with modern communication and publicity. TikTok has managed to make absolute nonsense go viral, yet soaps still haven’t tapped into the potential of these platforms. They need far more activity on their official accounts - strategic posting, funny moments, clips that actually have viral potential. One lonely clip a day on YouTube or Facebook just isn’t enough anymore. In a sea of digital junk... people need constant reminders if a show is going to stand out. The promo for BTG has been shockingly weak these past few months. That has to change.

A new man for Elizabeth and give Becky a storyline.

The eye mites didn't do it for you, huh?

The season two promo for BTG doesn't look any better in my opinion. I honestly don't know what they're thinking at this point after this show has now been pummeled with criticism for almost its entire first year run. They will not succeed based on complacency.

I think what BTG needs in 2026 is a showrunner who could give the show the good, swift kick in the pants that it needs. JHC might be a sweetheart, but she has no vision.
