What's worse, apart from the stories bearing no relation to what would actually occur IRL, is that there are no sets or cast to support the stories.

It mostly happens in restaurants.

The show had Jabot and Newman as the two key businesses in town and they could have been used effectively. Instead we have to start Newman Media, Chancellor Communications and God knows what else.

Arabesque, Cassidy One, McCall, Marchetti and on and on.

Remember the months spent talking about podcasts and now there's no trace of it.

What happened to that game Daniel was developing?

We had the train set, now the LA bar sucking up dollars that could be spent elsewhere.Billy got a house that we never see.

No more recast villian's from the past.

There was no need for Cane or Matt. They could have been clean slate new characters.

They really need to do a reset and come up with a more effective way of matching the writing to the budget.

This show is garbage, but Lucas Adams is doing well as Noah and feels believable as Sharon and Nick’s son. Griffith will probably sideline him soon enough, but I always thought DAYS never knew how to use him and hope this works out for him.

Today's episode showed Josh Griffith's strengths as a writer: focused-type episodes, despite being dependent on history that was not his to begin with. However, the flashbacks proved just how low quality the scripts happen to be under Griffith as head writer. RC Cates is great as music supervisor, but those more classic cues from the mid-2000s were simply unmatched.

And out of all the interruptions, the one person we did not need in this episode was Phyllis. At all.

I was joking to myself that they will find someway to have Phyllis make and appearance and BAM there she is…..JG really can’t help himself including her in everything 🙄

It says a lot that flashbacks from 2013-14 make the show look so much better then it is now, given at the time we definitely weren’t feeling that.

This show really does an injustice to how good TEB is and I really wish Lauren would have her own story again.

I’m liking new Noah too. I just get the Ick with him and Sienna. It’s not just because of the age difference (I mean it is that too), but also I just can’t help but feel like Sienna is a fking loser for wanting to be with Noah romantically.. and I don’t wanna feel that way about her because I like this actress a lot. It’s just, really girl? You’re willing to sacrifice your life to this young man who probably, still in many ways still a little boy and this is the man you feel secure with? I don’t know. I just don’t feel like it’s realistic. Unless they showcase Sienna as a woman who is going through a serious midlife crisis then I might believe it. Right now.. nope.

Well, that's what you do when you have a pet you pander to, despite undoing plenty of character development others did with the character.

People can gripe and moan about Jill Farren Phelps all they want, but the one thing she does know how to do is produce a soap, and those flashbacks proved it. And not a single mention of a business merger, an AI program, or anything. How riveting.

I miss when she had Fenmore's to visit and then Newman Enterprises shareholder meetings to visit, etc. She was actually used for something.
