Reminder that we're still living a few episodes behind schedule... like Halloween, their Thanksgiving episodes are well past their real date haha. I guess I can handle more Thanksgiving. I wonder when it'll straighten out, or if Christmas/New Year's might be behind too.

Also nice to see they didn't forget about Ned LOL. Good seeing him back home for Thanksgiving. And a Borg (Star Trek) reference - Resistance is Futile! LOL

Nothing he does surprises me, but I'm not shocked he's talking up daytime (which he clearly was trolling and mocking during his run) considering his career is currently a burning cinder and he has been exiled to Italy making schlock a la Kevin Spacey.

I'll always enjoy a Quartermaine Thanksgiving.

And even though I would've liked to have actually seen Ned in the hospital as a patient, I'm glad that he's doing well, and that Gio was a part of the festivities as well. It's about time that he spent some time with his normal grandfather 😂

The cliffhanger ending was good as well.

Whoa they showed a Quartermaine I’ve never seen, Ned and Olivia’s kid. I just realized they literally never have shown him since I’ve been back watching for the last year.

-- The Quartermaine Thanksgiving was a letdown to me. For one thing, there wasn't all that much food on that table. I wouldn't exactly call it a feast.

-- And then boxing it up to take to the hospital? Seriously? All those people to deliver that small turkey and a few side dishes. Talk about the rich deciding "Let them eat cake."

-- Outback should have destroyed that meal.

-- Tracy did save the day with the pizza, though.

I was pleased and a bit surprised to see little Leo, it's been so long. Leo was a pretty regular fixture at the Qs up til the last year or two. Another unnecessary kid (from Olivia's stupid ONS with Julian; Ned adopted him) but Easton Rocket Sweda has a winning personality and great rapport with the family, and it's a nice bit of representation for children on the spectrum.

Whoa I didn’t realize Leo was actually a Jerome. Does the show allow Ava to have any sort of relationship with her nephew or is it completely not acknowledged?

I'm not sorry they've moved away from the meals being destroyed, even if I agree they could have given the hospital more food. It was strange seeing such a wholesome Quartermaine Thanksgiving but I guess the mood did fit where they are now (especially with Tracy away) and avoided the self-parody feel.

Gio and Emma are a lovely couple, even if they seem like they're from the '40s. I think of how Jason, Brenda and AJ were around their age and it's night and day.

I agree about moving away from food destruction, although I'd rather the curse be broken at this point.

I can't be fúcked to remember tbh. The new Lucas/Ava relationship was a bit of a reach for me as is lol. I just never bought that most of the PC folks who were unlucky enough to be related to the dangerous Jeromes would freely associate with them, because a lot of times those relationships didn't feel earned to me in the 2010s. Lucas and Julian made an effort so I can buy it there with Ava as Lucas gets older.

Julian would often be banished or brought back in and out of Leo's life due to his various evil deeds until his death - it was a revolving door IIRC and I don't recall him ever being a dependable parent, not that I was watching a ton in his last years. But for all intents and purposes Ned is Leo's father. I can't remember Ava and Leo ever interacting.

The youth set could definitely use a lot more sin and heat, as I've said before re: bringing characters to mix it up with them, Trina, etc. But Frank's GH doesn't really know how (or more likely want) to get messy a lot of the time. Which is unfortunate because the edginess is right there with Braedyn Bruner in particular.

I also would like the Q Thanksgiving curse broken. Enough. Say Ghost Monica ended it!
