Damian had so much potential and Josh just pissed it all away for nothing. Same for Chance, same for Cole. I will admit, Peck didn't look like he was glad to be back.Damian was the first Lily love interest with legs in years (I didn't mind her with Daniel. )

Billy Flynn could have been brought in as Theo Vanderway.  He has a relatively clean slate and a built in family with ties to the Chronicle. Damien would still be  on the canvas and he wouldn't have the Cane  sized Albatross around his neck.

Soooo much. Don't get me started on Cole or Chance. Especially Chance.

While I like the other actor from his time on Lifetime, I could buy BF as Theo. And since JG loves to write for the Abbotts, that's another layer to be played.

Why not just make him a new character with an agenda against Noah? So far, everything could play the same w/o having to accept that Matt somehow is alive.

With his lazy writing and the budget there's only two options:

New character who stalks around mysteriously and then eventually narrates all of the things that happened between him and Noah.

Old character with a rich history that can be referred to.

What we would never get is the actual villain's story playing out in real time, plotting and scheming, actually DOING things, creating a storyline that comes to a climax. It's the same reason they go back to the well on old couples like Cricket/Danny and Victoria/Cole. They don't need to show them falling in love, the audience can just look up their story on wikipedia, so all they have to do is sit in the coffee house and talk about their great love which happened onscreen in the distant past.

Okay, I'll give him this much...at least with Danny/Christine...there would be flashbacks as they just sit there.

With regular movers and shakers like the Newmans in L:os Angeles..  why not include characters on their way to the wedding (Nina who just lost her son) and Gina (who owns a restaurant that they could have dined in  Bug Eyes, Holden, Snortoria and Nikki). At least having a friendly face on hand instead of the random hotel everyone stayed at in the restaurant would be pleasant for fans. Especially those of us saying "No-no to noir", Both were already taping at around the same time.

Oh yeah, It's Griffith. Never mind.

I thought bringing Cole back was a good idea. Not that he was the most exciting character but JEP improved once he settled in after so many years.

The reason for that is after so many marriages and romances, it really stretches credibility that Victoria would once again be falling in love (especially when the show usually goes with the character being sooo in love-see Kyle/Lola/Summer/Claire.)

So an old romance returning is more acceptable. But they did little with Cole after the nonsense intro with clown villain Jordan. Just have Cole return and him and Victoria rediscovering each other and using Cole's many years away as a springboard for story that would complicate things.

Instead we got coughing Cole followed by corpse Cole and those possibilities were DOA.

But of course with Josh's writing Cole could be back from the dead anytime.

Theo Vanderway.

I still think that that is the most ridiculous soap character name ever.

Why didn't Cane call Phyllis IMMEDIATELY when his AI program was stolen and used to attack his company?

Rhetorical question, because I know the answer is "Terrible writing."

'Matt Clark' is the new 'Alexander Dumas' in terms of the number of times Nick and Sharon say his name.

Why don't they alert the police if they are convinced that's who he is? Last time I checked, faking your death was a crime.

Missed half of today's episode because CBS.com's TV Provider option keeps telling me I have other videos open (which I do not). Paramount+ via Prime Video is shït video, but it's better than nothing, I guess. Damn.

Why do celebs and others always feel the need to share every life event with the media (including social media)?  Whatever happened to maintaining one's private life?

Why not? Why not get some payment/free stuff by having a lot of followers and giving attention to companies and brands?

Some influencers are making HUGE money by sharing. Daytime salaries won't make anyone rich, so I have no problem with these actors attending soap events, doing cameos, having a big following that impresses their show, etc.

The Camryn Grimes wedding news in interesting to her fans. She looks good in those pics, and I'm happy for her. Doesn't change how bad her role is right now, but still, good for her.

I've been a Lucas Adams fan since he was on DAYS. He's going to have a baby? Good for him.

-- Christine and Danny are just now talking details with their wedding planner? What?

-- And why make the wedding planner a total nut job?

-- Meanwhile, poor Aria. One mother is in a psych clinic and the other one spends all her time with Daniel.
