Yeah... all this talk about Laura as Mayor will never not be hilarious.

But I'm glad that all of this anti-Quartermaine stuff with Gio seems to be ending. Hopefully, he moves back into the house.

I agree. Plus, this pep talk from Martin The Ctiminal Lowlife Brother about how wonderful Laura is has me HOWLING! 😂

I like Mayor Laura. But they've made her role a joke in the last couple years, as opposed to early in the 2020s when virtually every decision in town was run through 'Madame Mayor' lol. People weren't using the microwave without running it by Laura. I loved that.

Do they think Britt looks super sexy with this mom haircut and TSA wardrobe? It's not helping.

Britt has never been super sexy.  Or sexy at all. She's always been shopping at the Gap for the worst blazer suits, but if she was an actual pleasant person with a tiny bit of charisma you could overcome some of that.

She has looked better than this in the past. She just looks matronly, both wardrobe and styling.

I know you've said this before but she's always looked frumpy to me.  I think her hair has been better but she has always projected a bit matronly.  But I may be just thinking about the Ugly duckling/Princess Sabrina era and it was for contrast.

I don't think she (or many people) were styled well in that era. But it wasn't this bad, and she looked decent in her last stint. Now it's just dour. They have poor Alexa Havins dressed like a widow a lot too. Or a U-Haul lesbian.

I actually like some of Alexa Havin's outfits (not todays), but it seems like they dress her very casually while the show wants to project Brook Lynn as being very put together and fancy-even if she looks worse.  Setton has never met a satin long sleeve button up blouse she didn't like.

Exactly. They dress down a lot of women in that range on the show other than (you guessed it) OLTL alum Amanda Setton. To me it is deliberate. But Setton can't stop dressing like she just buried her third husband.

Modesty lol.

The point isn't getting across though because Willow, Maxie, Lulu all look like relatable humans while BLQ looks like a mom from an early 90's sitcom.

Every time I see Jacinda, I think to myself that the main reason she's on is to save money on budget. Why introduce a real character played by a real actress when they can cheaply fill time with her.

I'm all for giving newbies a shot, but I don't think the Jacinda actress is it. She doesn't have enough charisma. They need to go back to the casting office..

I've gotta give the show some credit for briefly giving us some actual medical drama in the scene with Britt and Portia. And it was perfectly in character too, with Britt acting in a wildly unprofessional manner in the service of a greater goal (acting fact to save a patient) and Portia being professional to a fault, following hospital protocol even when her inaction could cost Ned his life.

We got some more Jason Quartermaine today and I really enjoyed it. I hate that it took this long and for the entire senior family outside of Tracy and Ned to die but I’ll take it. Genuinely was shocked when he was at the hospital with the family today and then him opening up to Britt about how Ned stuck around and tried his best to keep the family together. Really good stuff.
