Donnell Turner's 10th anniversary on GH is Nov. 30.
(interview has no spoilers).
The article title is ...
‘General Hospital’s Donnell Turner on Fulfilling His Dream of Being the ‘Black Luke Spencer’

I mean, maybe he's the Black Bill Eckert, but even that's a stretch.

I feel like even that's a disservice to Bill Eckert lol.

DT has made the "Black Luke Spencer" comments before. It's obvious he wants to be paired with Genie. Tony Geary was probably being nice to him lol. Most likely DT just thinks highly of himself or somehow thinks that's how his character is actually perceived.

The thing is Curtis is nothing like Luke. Even if Curtis was a good character, which he's not, he doesn't have anything in common with the Luke character or even the Robert character. He's not some action/adventure hero-or at least he's not anymore. He has almost no layers or depth, and DT lacks charisma and barely tries. Curtis is mostly a business man that has waffled between two women his entire run. It's almost criminal Curtis has lingered on this show for an entire decade.

But, anyway, Happy Thanksgiving everyone lol!!
