That would have been me. Though I said it was #1 with B&B being a second IMHO. I'm still thinking of that business suit with cape that KKL had on in the post-studio move episodes. Or perhaps I should say I feel like thought was put into it.  I know we used to discuss all the time BITD that the difference between Y&R and B&B and budget can be found whenever a character from Y&R crossed over to B&B where they looked 10 times better than on their own show where now the clothes can look...budgety?

 

I totally agree though on BTG. Cuz I can look outfits, hairstyles (I'm looking at you Ambyr.  ), and bubble pants for days.

Hmmm...do I feel like he might be killed off? Like it's been mentioned, eventually. The question for me will be who. That said...yeah, I think MVJ really loves having JL around which is why his character has grown and have so many fingers in story pies now. And while the best thing about this show has been that most characters are gray to me, it has been a noticeable effect to soften Joey. I feel that it has for the most part been organic outside of the recent Izaiah scenes, but I haven't done a rewatch yet so I reserve the right to change my mind at a later date.

Oh how funny, I didn't realize they were in a movie together!  Very cool, I'll have to check it out.

I finally caught up on last week's episodes. As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed them. 

Derek & Ashley are both pathetic but I did enjoy the fallout. I was thrilled Andre told Ashley he's falling in love with his wife. I am torn between wanting Dani to go back to Bill or staying with Andre. They have carefully constructed a viable love triangle.

Martin, as usual, was beyond extra. His confrontation with Kat was definitely crossing all kinds of lines. He should not have spoken to her in that manner. And Smitty as usual has to be the voice of reason. 

Dana/Leslie showing a softer side was also much needed and appreciated. She's still awful but I liked seeing her vulnerability this week.

The Joey/Izaiah scenes were very interesting and I'm curious where they are going with that. I definitely chuckled at the scenes at the Fairmont Crest country club with Anastasia, Joey and Vanessa.

And finally, I love Shanice!

I give the week an 8.5/10.

They really have. And to think that it seem like it was going to be Dani/Bill/Hayley which never felt like a true triangle to me. And then the writers subvert expectations and got a much better vibrantly soapy triangle.

I just caught up with Wed-Fri. I was not bored for one single second, so I'm just going to give it a 10/10.

Now I will say they have a great opportunity to re-do Ashley. She and Andre are not a good match.
