I believe the second season (or more correct - second year) will blow our socks off. They have been adjusting the show in the past 3 months and making it better overall. There was a lull period before that... that made me scared of the future.

But now... I think with the potential of drama coming from all sides... we have so many disturbed bitches... evil people... grudges... opportunists... but we also have love, friendship and family. In other words - all what it takes to make great drama + Tomas.

P.S. I'll like a little more promo though. More clips uploaded to social media. A tiktok campaign won't hurt too. They upload 1 clip a day or something like that... but have thousands of followers on tiktok. Why don't they upload more clips when it's evident people like it? That needs to be worked on. I'm just saying.

While I'm thinking about it @Antoyne what's the temperature with your feelings on SPS/Eva since those were your early faves?

Daytime soaps being referred to as having "seasons" gives me hope. I remember when Dynasty, Knots Landing, and Melrose Place all started off with lackluster first "seasons". Insert characters like "Alexis Carrington", Abby Cunningham", and "Amanda Woodward" and their shows' second "seasons" and beyond were fire. Along with them also came a whole different tone and vibe of those shows respectively. So we'll see BTG.

I wonder if she ends up being something like the daughter of the person who is going to Primary Martin next year.

Or, unconnected to Jessica, if ‘known hot guy’ ends up being his primary opponent?

• I like that Bill is asking Tomas to step up to the plate at the law practice. After all, it could be his one day, especially since Naomi has made it known she is not interested.

• So, Luke Hawthorne works at Detroit P.D.? Perhaps he could come to the DMV area in 2026 and replace his father.

• You ARE the selfish one, you spoilt bitch. You want it all about you, and that is disgusting. Get over yourself.

• Marcel... what have you got up your sleeve where Dana is concerned? Sir, go home.

• The way in which Elon is talking about Izaiah makes me feel like there is something deeper there than Izaiah being a teen.

• Good on you Nicole for thinking Ted's idea is a good one. That is what I like hearing! And I would kick her out of every family dinner for good to save myself the migraine of listening to her whining.

• Eva and Izaiah definitely spark with chemistry. I just hope it does not blow up in either of their faces.

• A nice nod to the Mike Davis lawsuit in today's opener.

• David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) gotta go. The bobblehead is too much and is beyond ridiculous at this point.

Elon and Izaiah are pretty tall compared to Jacob. It's a teeny bit distracting to me.

Has Elon been confirmed to be a crooked cop? I remember it was looking that way a while back. Frankly, I'd prefer Elon not be crooked -- perhaps something was just misunderstood. I like the actor and the character -- plus it would be nice to have an adult working-class man on the show who is not a cheater, crooked, or otherwise a loser. I don't mind if Elon is rough around the edges, but just don't make him a loser, please.

Somehow, I think Elon as a crooked cop is going to be straightened out in some way, especially since they appear to be building his family. I would expect Luke Hawthorne to show up sometime in season two.

-- It's nuts that Ted is pushing Kat to share Thanksgiving with Eva. Talk about rushing things. And what does that even mean? Is he cooking dinner? Or just getting a table at the country club?

-- Nicole was no better. In fact, she was worse. I hate it that she didn't side with Kat and agree it was all moving too fast. She's already pushing the sister thing and it makes no effing sense.

-- Only Dani made sense.

-- Wealthy Leslie is having Thanksgiving dinner at ORPHEY GENE'S??? What???

-- And Ted said "It's on me" regarding Thanksgiving dinner with Eva and Leslie AT ORPHEY GENE'S???

-- Ted acted a fool when he saw Eva with Izaiah. The overbearing father? Really? From this guy who pretty much ignores his other two kids?

-- All this fury from Elon about Izaiah being a problem and not caring about his mother does not work. Not only haven't we been given anything but "He was arrested when he was younger," but David Lami Friebe simply DOES NOT give bad boy in ANY way.
