I thought she was one of the best directors in YR history. I was surprised to find out she had directed at ATWT.

Same here.  She was part of that amazing team who elevated Y&R's already stellar scripts and made the show look cinematic and classy.

1985-2000 definitely was the golden era for Y&R directing.

Wow RIP! for some reason I always thought she was like a young 20 something director at the time. 

Y&R definitely had a solid directing team in it's hey day with the likes of Hill, Frank Pacelli, Mike Denney, and Randy J. Robbins. Not to discredit the ones that guided the ship years earlier, like Richard Dunlap, Rudy Vejar, and Dennis Steinmetz.

Heather was definitely a standout director and one of the best to ever grace daytime and especially Y&R. RIP. 

Sorry to hear about her passing. 

So many talented people came from Love of Life. 

Someone should tell Hollywood Reporter Love Is was not on the air in the '80s.

RIP Heather Hill and thank you for your contributions to daytime television.

I always assumed she was much older because her directing was very skilled. Fascinating to hear that she married to fellow Y&R director Randall "Randy" Hill. RIP!

Oh I didn’t know that! Haha I saw the name Randy Hill but didn’t put two and two together. Haha 

I always knew when she directed a SFT episode. That show desperately needed her touch. Too bad P&G didn't keep her but she was brillzzz on Y&R. Wonder why she left Y&R at age 60.
