Susan said she came back to tell Marlena, and Tony and Anna, that she felt Stefano's presence. Then, during the blackout, she went to the cemetery—where, as mentioned yesterday, Stefano is not buried—and declared that Stefano is dead. Afterward, she made her way to Marlena's to tell her that Stefano's gone, but she is still worried about Marlena's health.

So, yeah, her stated purpose for coming for a visit seems done. And you know what Ben Franklin said about fish and guests: they begin to smell after three days.

However, it seems like Rachel's secret isn't staying secret for very long. And Susan is the only one who keeps saying that she regrets not figuring out that Kristen shot EJ (because she didn’t). Thus, I assume Susan is sticking around—for better or worse—until Kristen is released from prison because Rachel's secret is revealed.

Remember the tagline: Nothing Stays Secret in Salem.

Boring uninspired writing on Days. So much didn’t make sense today. The Bonnie stuff. There was supposedly so many people waiting. Where were they? Chattering in the background. lol There’s no real story with Cwickly/Ford. They write scenes. The baby stuff is so anti climactic. Oh yeah, what’s his name is the father. Days is so dull.

Just finished—felt quick.

Honestly, if Rachel hadn’t been wearing a crown, I would’ve assumed it was another one of those silly dresses they put her in for school.  Those tendrils seem annoying.  I've never worn curly tendrils on the side of my forehead (as I am not Orthodox), but they seem distracting when you walk. Was Alex dressed as Zorro, or is that just one of his blouses?

Was Marlena meant to seem scary, or stern?  Are we to assume she lost patience with Rachel due to her lack of sleep?  Or, was that a dark energy?  Or was that just Marlena trying to socialize her granddaughter, like she never got a chance to do with Sami?  And why does everyone assume it is grief and not guilt over putting her ex-daughter-in-law in prison for seven years, for a crime Doc knows she didn't commit?

If that boy is Sofia’s brother, someone should tell the social worker that Amy Choi lets her elementary-aged son wander around Horton Square, alone, on Halloween. And this is right after it was looted by vandals. I like Amy as a character, but she hasn’t exactly proven herself to be a responsible mom.

Kudos to the text box. Hollyoaks in the UK has used that convention for years, and it’s a very effective storytelling device. Just showing us the text feels much more natural than having everyone call each other.

I assume Stephanie will ask Leo who leaked her information—why else would she give an interview to the creep who exposed her in print?  But, I also assume that the result of the cliffhanger will de-rail her from finding the truth immediately.  I actually felt bad for Stephanie, because she looked like a fool.  How would her aunt's doppelgänger not recognize her, it was only a mask and a hood?

I was very disappointed in Jeremy and Marlena's first scene together. They couldn't have taken a couple minutes for her to ask after his parents, and/or have a small moment regarding Laura, his grandmother and one of her best friends? It would have been so simple and added so much.

It was strange because they didn't appear to know one another.  Obviously, they do, but the show didn't even acknowledge it in any capacity.  Not even a good to see you again.

Carrie was engaged to his father lol.

Jeremy seems set up for a classic double take.

He'll be exonerated as not being the leaker by Leo, someone else assaulted Alex, and Thomas is going to grow to like him as a cool teacher.

So, we (and Stephanie or Jada) will be lulled into a false sense of security.  But, good for Rachel for seeing red flags immediately.

Then he'll pounce.  The UK soaps have done these interesting stories about misogyny in young men being groomed by an older, status-consumed man.  It would be incredible if DAYS had Jeremy teach slightly older Thomas and Cooper Choi misogyny by showing them preference over Rachel.  But, that will never happen, because we'll never see the classroom.  And, DAYS would never move that slowly.  Jeremy was introduced last week, and already he's being shown as a potential stabber.

Does anyone have a link to the Jeremy/Stephanie scene where he held her underwater?

Facebook posters claim they've watched the scene on You Tube, but no matter what I search for there or on Google, I cannot find it.

Thanks. I watched the video after @carolineg sent the link to me. That scene was as bad as I heard it was, and Jeremy came off as completely out of control.

Hard to believe some people online are saying "It wasn't that bad" and that Stephanie shared the blame for arguing with Jeremy.

And due to its unpopularity, and Trevor Donovan's acting, the storyline, and the actor were sent packing in just four months 😂

It was only four months?  It seemed longer lol.  It wasn't a single bad act Jeremy committed with that hot tub scene.  He was genuinely awful to Stephanie and everyone else.

I remember, that was a long summer 😂😂

I think Hogan Sheffer was trying to focus more on younger characters, but it just kinda failed miserably.
