I don't need another baby story for several years, but I thought there was an idea there when she told Chad "James" was her old boyfriend, Chad kept seeing Rafe's texts, and Rafe/James left her food.  It could have been dropped.  

EJ paying for a date with Cat and hiring her as an assistant should lead somewhere too.  It's hard to tell.  The show might just be exploring options.

I am surprised ALM is staying because of the awful storyline, but I'd probably stay even if my only job was to clean Deidre Hall's dressing room so I can't fault her.😂

I didn't see that much chemistry between Rafe and Cat either, but I wouldn't be surprised if they went there either.

The standout, to me, is still EJ and Stephanie.

AK and DF do have chemistry.  I guess my biggest issue with Stephanie is that she has a full plate of love interests already-and they hire more lol.  She has four current exes/bf's on the canvas-Phillip, Chad, Jeremy, and Alex.    

So that really has nothing to do with going with chemistry or the believability of Cat/EJ, but more my dislike of Stephanie getting another man while someone like Jada gets nothing.  Maybe if they allow Shawn to appear again Jada will get action.

Agreed. Shawn and Jada was a missed opportunity. They could have even tied their relationship to Belle, and to EJ and whatever he's doing at the hospital. Which Stephanie could be weaved into as well.

Shawn getting involved with all of that could've taken a toll on his relationship with Jada and also bring up some unresolved feelings that he has for Belle.

Yeah, I don't think Beemer is the best actor in the world although it's always been so odd to me that no one utilizes him.  It's not one specific regime that has no idea what to do.  It's been 20 years lol. 

They really hard ended Jada/Rafe, so I assumed it would move into Jada/Shawn with Belle/Phillip/EJ being around. 

I don't have strong personal feelings about Rafe, but it's also strange they keep GG around and do very little with him.   Since budget is a constant issue I would think you would cut him until there was an actual story for him.

Firstly Cat or Kat, I go Cat because it is short for Caterina. But, I am willing to change

Next AMC or ALM?  Annalynne is one word, but Mc last names are usually shortened to Mc, so I think it is AMC, not ALM, yet A-LM might be acceptable.

What's the consensus?

Mary-Beth Evans is hyphenated, so MBE makes sense.  I would vote for AMc  due to Annalynne being one word.

@carolineg I agree, Rafe is deadweight, and we need more room in the Hernandez household.  BUT - for the past two years in a row, there were long periods when Rafe was out of commission.  I know one was to facilitate the actor's recovery from a skiing accident.  But, given how often he's offscreen, I don't think of him as a leading character in need of much focus.

To me, Days has always had strong adult friendships. So, I like Rafe and Cat as buddies.  Just as I enjoyed Stephanie and JJ discussing life the other day.  I am hoping we do not get a JJ/Jada pairing, because Jada has got to stop smooching guys on the force, it is a bad look.  Imagine if Jessica Tisch (NYPD police commissioner), had affairs with two different police officers?!  El Scandalo

Mary Beth Evans doesn't have a hyphen

AnnaLynne capitalizes the Lynne in her name so even though it's one word I still acknowledge it.  Since no one else on Days has AM as initials I suppose it doesn't matter.  The second C in McCord is also capitalized I guess you could say ALMc, but you might as well spell her name at that point lol.

Well, no offence, it is not like major film studios or primetime television producers are likely knocking on her door demanding she come provide groundbreaking acting for them. 🤣

Fair lol.

I am one of the few that find her an engaging performer.  The character is a mess, but I find her likeable.  She could definitely work on the God network if that was her thing.

She has been a Lifetime girlie. But Lifetime seems to be waiting a lifetime to bring her back in.
