My completely uninformed, only watched the will episode, after not watching for months, prediction.

Spoiler

Drew is going to buy out Ronnie's inheritance, so she can leave town, and the family will beholden to him to live in the mansion, replicating their dynamic when Monica owned it.

If Drew wasn't so loathsome that actually could have been an interesting twist.

The Sonny/DA-Bot scenes are terrible as usual, but they only last a minute or two. Otherwise, Sonny is actually used effectively for once, in some cute scenes with Gio (that were paralleled with some equally cute Anna/Emma scenes).

In fact, for an episode that featured some of my less-favorite characters, I thought they were used very well. Britt had just the right level of tart bitchiness today, and I liked how she put herself in the middle of the Curtis-Isaiah confrontation. I also liked just how messy that quad (including Jordan) seems to be getting. And Erika Slezak hasn't missed a beat; her scenes reading the search warrant were just a masterclass of subtle soap acting.

Yeah... the DA is DOA. This character should not exist.

But as much as I despise that Sonny is basically the only family member that Gio has a relationship with and that Gio is going to be living with Sonny, I did enjoy his scenes today. I'm glad that he has someone to talk to about Emma and the kiss. His scenes with Emma were really good as well. They're great together, and the two of them (and Trina) should definitely be the younger lead characters on GH.

And, we got confirmation that Gio is a good kisser 😉😂😂

A minute or two is enough to be way too long lol.

I don't mind Gio/Sonny scenes either, tbh.  I know people dislike the relationship because it's Sonny, but they work off one another well.

On a side note, how on earth did the PCPD mess up the Q address in the warrant lol

I might have to eat some crow.

I'm playing catch-up and I said that I didn't like the week that the show started Monica's death because it felt like there was just so much unnecessary storylines around it.

Now that I'm making my way through the Funeral week...I'm surprised at how the surrounding storylines around it are actually shocking me with being compelling. There's a flow, a rhythm that feels like things are slightly breathing. Yeah it's not perfect for me...Britt...I was about to pick on the silliness *side-eye* of Tracy running away, but just got to Lois finding her and shut up quickly before a word spit out of my mouth. WK continues to be a standout for me though everyone is giving. You can just see the closeness he must have had to LC written all over his face and it doesn't feel like acting. Naturally.

And by surrounding stories...I mean this Nathan storyline. I hate Maxie is not here for it. But so far after a stumble, the intrigue of it has kicked in, and I am...well...intrigued. Okay, the writers were smart to take it from the angle of Nathan's relationship to people the audience actually care about (sorry, Dr. O, Britt) like Anna, Felicia (omg KW's intro scene to Nathan was perfection), and Nina has grounded this in a way. And so far, block of wood or not, RP is kinda acting okay so far.

And of course, how Drew continues to affect the Jordan/Curtis/Portia/Isaish block has me surprisingly invested. Or Portia's continuing to go off. BK is just giving scene after scene after scene when she goes off. Loving it.

Because Anna sucks as a cop. Same crap on AMC. She let Michael cambais walk

In theory it might be Anna's mess up, but to get a warrant multiple people would have to approve including a judge in real life.

I am interested in the mansion down the street.  These people could be untapped amazing characters lol

It's been so much fun seeing Erika Sleazak take on a new role. I know it's only for a short time, but I'm still glad we got it.

Gio...wow...is he a cutie, or what? Emma and he make a great pair.

It's amazing how easily Rory Gibson has so effectively taken over the role of Michael. Shows just how bad the writing was for him on Y&R.
