Stupid Line of the Day:

Dante and Brook Lynn talked about how wonderful Tracy's eulogy for Monica was. They praised Tracy. Then Dante said,

"She reminded me of you."

Huh? Talk about a real stretch. It made no sense in or out of context. And if it did make sense, wouldn't Dante say that Brook Lynn reminds him of Tracy?

The writers just tried way too hard to give a chem test moment to  Dante and Brook Lynn.

I agree. Except on very rare occasions, Chad never exhibited that steely spine that Rory Gibson has in spades. We'd get a really good performance out of him on a Monday, and then on Tuesday we were back to milquetoast Michael.

Gibson was accepted so quickly and so dramatically as Michael that it was eye-opening. Yes, he's been terrific, but part of the reason is also that Chad Duell wasn't making an impact.

I don't dislike Chad, but speak that truth. lol.

And the fact that RG was so dramatically accepted by everyone has been crazy. And we both know JG is pressed about that, too. hehe.

Just finished today's episode. I'd been thinking we didn't get enough Monica flashbacks, but then I watched Jason bookend some incredible and emotional clips. Well done, GH. Bravo.

Jane Elliot was great this week, as always. No praise is ever enough. However, for me, Steve Burton was the heart of this entire week.

Jason's sense of loss and love was so palpable that it lifted the rest of the cast. Steve Burton isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I don't know how this could have been played any better. He was magnificent.

It's always been tough for me to get past the very messy intro for Olivia and the show having her All About Eve-ing Kate (although that wasn't LLC's fault, obviously), that on top of resenting LLC's Loving/The City character for replacing a character I loved (Ava). Still, I have a lot of respect for how LLC makes every little bit of airtime she gets count. I enjoyed her scene with Dante today in the Q kitchen and how they manage to intertwine her still being the Falconeri/Bensonhurst creation while also being there to cook for her Q family.

I assume the Qs still have a cook, offcamera, but imagining Edward's reaction to someone who isn't the help doing all the cooking amuses me.

Even though Gio had no reason to have an issue with Tracy in the first place, I'm glad we did get that moment today where he said he was proud to be her great-grandson. As always Jane played that moment so beautifully.

And the bit where Dante was praising Brook Lynn makes me wonder if they really are going to pursue the story where she falls for him and it causes a lot of havoc in their relationships.

I thought he did say she reminded him of Tracy. Maybe I misunderstood.

I think you heard that because that would have made sense, DRW50.

Very good point. Lisa LoCicero made every one of her lines count this week. She was just great.

I dunno, it might be the following week. I'm so confused lol

From what little I've seen online, it seems like if it is pre-empted, it's baseball related and it seems depends on the region. Some places will get the whole week.

So...wait and see I guess.

From what I can find, GH is pre-empted 3 days next week -- Tues., Wed., and Thurs.

That means we get shows on Monday and Friday only.
