Dr. O slapping the crap out of Britt was the best part of the episode lol

Second best was when Jason shooed Carly out of Anna's office, totally ignoring her.

I am way more concerned about them finding Outback than I am about anything Britt has done while she was gone.

Rocco's concern for Britt is on my last nerve.

It’s one of the dumbest writing choices I’ve ever seen. How many ways does your family have to say this woman stole you from your parents. I remember being a teenager and I wasn’t anywhere near this damn stupid.

Thank you. None of It plays as realistic or authentic.

This week was great!  Definitely the best week since the Nurse's Ball because of the Drew/Willow/Michael story and the Britta/WSB story.  Finally, humor and sarcasm is back at General Hospital with the Britch hopefully back as chief of staff.  Highlight was the mother-daughter reunion and the slap I'd been anticipating.  This is probably the best character return since Brenda's first return in the early 2000s.  Thank goodness they didn't waste her away all isolated for months and months like they did with Brenda.  I'm liking how the plot is keeping things moving, overall.

If they're going to have any story involving teenagers, the actor playing Rocco (or the actor playing Jake) deserves it.  He's so much more natural and authentic than all the other college/high school age kids on the show.  I didn't watch GH back when Ben/Rocco was born when they had that terrible Lulu recast, but I love how they've connected his origin story with so many characters on the canvas now.  I'm glad Britt will end up having a good relationship with Ben, sort of like the way she had with Spencer.  Lulu & Dante are so annoyingly insufferable most of the time, so it's nice seeing Britt knock them off their holier-than-thou pedestals.

Such a silly choice linking Michael and the escort. He seriously believes she would make a good alibi? Was his brain damaged too somewhere along the way?

The show lucked out in getting 2 successful recasts with Lulu and Michael, but it both cases the writers have saddled them with B level crappy material. Can this show ever take an actor that fits and give them a good story?

Instead they give A stuff to Britt, whose reunion scenes at GH felt so hollow and clunky. It all fell so flat. Literally, who cares.

Give Britt the B stuff and Michael and Lulu the A stuff. As always, the priorities on this show are all wrong.

Well, that's not surprising. She's back to give Jason stuff to do. So she will naturally be in A territory.

Unpopular opinion, but I'll just say that if I had Dante and Lulu as parents, I'd also be actively fantasizing about what it would be like to have someone else as my parent. The two of them got on my last nerve today, as they interrupted the emotional reunion of a mother and her presumed-dead child, then proceeded to make it All About Them. By the point that they managed to shoo Britt out of the hospital before she could get her Huntington's meds refilled, I was rooting for Rocco to run away from home and live with Britt.

Yeah sorry, in total disagreement. She literally stole their child. Why would they ever be nice to Britt or Obrecht? And their kid is a total dumbass.

Nobody should give one-note Britt or her war criminal mom the time of day.

I'd agree with that, but they didn't just ignore her--they actively broke up Obrecht and Britt's emotional reunion, then pushed them out of the hospital before Britt could get her life-saving meds. Dante and Lulu act like they're the only ones who have feelings that matter, which is about I would expect from the spawn of Sonny and Luke.

If I just looked at the overall plot points, I would totally agree with you and Antoyne and feel like I should be on the side of the parents who got their baby stolen. But the day-to-day acting and dialogue choices just make Dante and Lulu so damn unlikeable to me. I actively want Rocco, who comes off as a sensitive, thoughtful teenager, to ditch their smug, self-righteous asses.

And I should add that I don't even especially like Britt or Obrecht, and I'd be happy if they left the show forever to conduct unethical medical experiments together somewhere in Europe. But I've still been finding them less obnoxious than Dante and Lulu recently.

That's because the show doesn't like them either (at least not together), and wants people to focus on Britt and Obrecht.
