-- Vanessa had a thought to have Doug's memorial at the Golden Corral casino? Yikes, she really is trash.

-- And she's spending all her grieving time with Mobster Joey instead of her kids or her best girlfriend?

-- Speaking of trash, there's Carlton, who apparently never heard of Bro Code. It's disgusting that he'd date Nicole when he was best friends with Ted. Another garbage male in the Fairmont Crest universe -- and it doesn't say much for Nicole, either.

-- Oh, Chelsea. You sold one purse. ONE. You're not a mogul, sweetie.

-- So June dispenses advice on boys to Samantha, but needs a lesson from Naomi on how to talk to guys? Uh....ok.

-- It makes no sense -- none -- that Naomi didn't tell June who Ted is. It's writing for convenience, because they're going to have June chase Ted. If she knew who he was and who he was related to, she wouldn't go after him.

-- Every line out of NoMas' mouth is laugable. He's a no good fcukboi. I wish the show would use this as a way to write him out. I hate seeing Eva and Kat fight over this POS who is dumber than a box of hair.

-- Kat was so good in that goodbye to Tomas and Eva, then ruined it all when she went back to her place. She still loves him? Are you effing kidding me? It's pretty bad when Chelsea makes the most sense of anyone in the room.

-- Hey Kat, how is Eva the winner if she gets a complete loser like Tomas?

-- Smitty, Smitty, Smitty. Use your damn words. I don't blame Martin for leaving.

-- Question: Why does BTG run a 15-second promo at the end of every episode that includes only things we've seen before?

Honestly... that's the only thing this guy is good for. Keep him in a towel and give him max 1 line an episode and we are good! LOL.

Hehe. THIS.

The scenes between Smitty & Martin were very honest & real.  (Brandon Claybon has really stepped up his game in the past 4 or 5 months.)

Alex Alegria could very well be a Daytime Emmy Awards attendee one day, so be nice and don't objectify this professional actor.

Ted/June?

I get the concept, but the writing for both characters has been inconsistent.

June should have been presented as a woman whose past had hardened her but underneath was still vulnerable. Not the 'crazy' character we were given.

And Ted would have his pick of women, so I don't see why he would be attracted to a waitress with all kinds of  issues. Unless he's secretly attracted to that type eg Leslie.

I agree that the subject of the conflict should have been something other than the male blow-up doll. LOL.

The girls playing Eva & Kat are just acting their asses off, and that poor guy playing Tomas stands there looking like he's wondering if he can beat rush hour traffic on I-85 when he leaves the studio, or if she go around by I-285.  Bless his heart.

This was literally my debate today when I was leaving the vet all the way in Alpharetta to get back to East Point so this really cracked me up 😂

My god I can only imagine how much better today’s scenes would’ve played if Colby and Ambyr weren’t having to act around a robot. Both Kat and Eva got some good licks in. And honestly I had to laugh when Tomas shut down Eva too. This man has no problem showing both Eva and Kat that he’s trash, and they both STILL want him. How degrading.

Why wouldn’t Naomi just flat out say hey Ted is my Uncle and the grandfather of your kids. Being vague for vague’s sake is one of my biggest pet peeves in real life and in tv.

Today's episode was awesome. I loved everything about it, except for the one weak link and sadly that was Tomas. The scenes with Eva/Kat/Tomas were so good but AA did nothing to elevate them. I admit, he's attractive and I love his ink but yeah, he did nothing.

Someone posted earlier about loving the complicated dynamic between Martin & Smitty and I wholeheartedly agree. It's absolutely refreshing to see an interracial gay male couple with real issues. BC has grown so much in the role and MM is really great as Smitty; he's the male version of Nicole LOL

Speaking of Nicole, had I been Ted, I would have definitely insisted that Carlton take a walk with him, so Ted could put the fear of God in him to stay away from his wife. Carlton is out of line but I get it. This is going to get messier for sure.

But back to Kat/Eva/Tomas, is Kat that spoiled and entitled she only wants Tomas so Eva doesn't have him and have it appear like she won one over her? That's pretty pathetic.

The scenes with June were cute and she's definitely growing on me. Naomi & Jacob are so doomed as a couple. The writing is on the wall. I love LB but Vanessa was a terrible wife and Joey gives me the creeps. Overall, today is a 9/10 for me.

The problem with comparing Kat, Tomas and Eva to Alice, Steve and Rachel is that George Reinholt (for all his faults) was not an animatronic puppet out of Disney's Small World.

It's a great, classical soap triangle but they need to either recast Tomas immediately or (preferably) junk him entirely and bring in someone worthy of the sisters.

Perhaps it's because I just started to read REAL LIFE by Brandon Taylor, but I love this.

Totally agree on Smitty. It's part of the reason I love when he and Nicole have scenes. It get each other so much.

Eva vs Kat was damn good soap. The look on her face when she realized Nomas told Eva everything! So gross! But then Kat was so cruel to Eva damn, that was such even writing, both gave as good as they got, there wasn't your typical writer's pet vs person who isn't allowed to call the other a hypocrite. Tomas talks sh!t about each with the other and then is "oh, ladies, let's not be so harsh!" What a POS! Eva's little speech about being like her mom was a little too on the nose (Ambyr was already conveying it with her expressions and mannerisms) but that was an Emmy reel right there.

Everyone was emotionally destroyed except Ridge... er, Tomas.

We often say BTG doesn't play all the beats but they did with this triangle and it really paid off.

Negative note is wtf is with Nicole's story. I resent her relationship with Carlton being told entirely from Ted's POV. Nu Ted has no game anyway. I want to see Nicole's storyline, I don't even understand if she is attracted to this guy (who is totally unmemorable) or trying to annoy Ted, or what. It comes off like their interactions are always background with Ted in the foreground, like their relationship is developing offscreen.

hehe. + 1

I don't, but we know I am in the minority and mileage does vary. So I agree with that. Eva vs Kat has always been a nice by-product of the main SilkPress story and is another B plot that grew organically.
