Okay, FINE. You WIN. I'm back on the Dani/Andre wagon. But if he hurts her again...GRRRR.

This episode is already off to a great start. Not surprising cuz it's Jazmen. But I really love the Bill/Naomi/Chels scene and how the show has continued the throughline of Chelesa dealing with her kidnapping. So much more realistic than POOF she's back to normal for me. Love seeing Hayley/Caroline. Loving how humor is being used...silly yes, but not so slapsticky that I'm rolling my eyes.

And the TWINS were mentioned today, too. I really wonder if they have already been cast if they are allegedly arriving in November/December according to today's dialogue per Vanessa.

I do wonder if the Joey/Vanessa/Doug story is going to climax and/or hit the next stage in the story because Guza will soon be leaving the credits so I have a feeling he's going to set up the next stage of the story so that his replacement can try to guide it to the next stage (though my instincts say that this Tracy T replacement is too similar to MVJ when some of the best head writer duos have different strengths and don't always agree).

That's what I am wondering as well.

While Wednesday episode was a low point for me as a viewer, Thursday and Friday made up for it as both episodes built up anticipation for next week. Loved the dialogue and character interactions. Bring on next week! This one was where characters were set up to be players in the next phases of their stories.

Totally agree. Last week is the first week I haven't done a rewatch. I miiiight rewatch Thursday and Friday, but I have no desire to do the rest.

I think its really sweet how Martin is helping June out. He supports Samantha and he is doing that by making sure June is in a healthy position to recieve her. He's surprising me and I like that for all of them

I loved the Vegas wedding hosted by an Anita impersonator. It was fun, but wasn’t overdone like say some of the supposed humor Ron used to do at DAYS. (Reminded me of the humor you’d see on OLTL during the Tomlin era)

-- Andre doesn't come off as drunk at all. Sean Freeman is playing it like a sober guy pretending he's hammered -- and failing at it.

-- As I said before, this comes off like a really bad Friends retread of "Ross and Rachel get drunk in Vegas and decide to marry."

-- I appreciate what they tried to do, but it didn't really work for me. If you laughed a lot, good for you.

-- So Anita tells Nicole she was wrong for thinking of giving Ted "a second chance"? I guess sanctimonious Anita thinks only THE DUPREES deserve second chances.

-- Others see that Doug and Vanessa scene as one showing them getting closer? To that, I say "HUH???" Doug is a big league cuck who knows his wife is screwing Golden Corral Mob Boss Joey on the reg. I wish he'd divorce Vanessa.

-- Good scenes with Martin and Eva, but the writers are working the "You're my sister" thing a bit too hard.

-- Kat should just dump Tomas if she isn't feeling it. Blaming Tomas for this lack of sexual spark says more about her than about Tomas.

-- Then we have Tomas being so stupid he tells Eva about his sexual adventures with the half-sister she hates.

When you're a world-renowned EGOT winner, I guess you're gonna have an impersonator in Las Vegas.  I thought it was incredibly stupid at first, but the longer it went on, I found myself halfway liking it.

When Tomas frowns or tries to look serious, his left eyelid droops.  But his right eyelid doesn't.

That's his best acting, actually.

He was really working that lid today during the potato wedge scene.

I'm not sure if that was supposed to be a drag queen of Anita or a lookalike impersonator of Anita, because Las Vegas has performers of both types (kind of like Elvis). If they were going for drag queen it seems like they would have just used a drag performer. But it's nice that the show actually did something that was fluff. Soaps used to do that.

Yeah, I thought that I would dislike it, but I grew to love it. But I guess I am a sucker for people on soaps dancing at the altar. lol. Dani was getting her life.

Yeah Dani has said orgasm before while with Andre, I love that they use those types of words

There was a Dani/Andre scene where the dialogue implied a certain bedroom activity. I'm sure so many grandmas clutched their pearls at that scene.

Andre/Dani over Andre/Ashley all day every day.

That's a given. I live for Dani shading Ashley. I just worry...as has been mentioned here...that as soon as Ashley finds out about Dark Derek, she's going to try to run back to Andre. And he is going to drop Dani. AGAIN. Hopefully not since they did get married now. He needs to stay with the fine wine, not mess with stale bland bread.

Tomas really needs to learn when to keep his mouth shut. It's bad enough he is sharing all of Kat's business (i.e. losing her virginity, sexual disconnect), but it's even worse since he barely knows Eva like that and Eva and Kat have a horrible relationship. Interesting that he never runs back to Kat to tell Eva's business like when Eva wanted his help with the inheritance letter.

The wedding could have been fun, but it wasn't. Many scenes fall flat on this soap because you have a stronger actor attempting to prop up a much weaker one. I've said it 100 times but Freeman's acting is not it. The facial expressions and sighing just piss me off.

I'm mildly interested in the outcome for Doug in this storyline, but I'm similarly curious as to how Randy is fearful of Joey knowing his whereabouts and at the same time using Orphey Gene's as his office.

I thought Anita and Nicole scenes were good. I don't understand why Anita is so black and white with Ted as if her own family hasn't had some questionable moments. Sleeping with Leslie again I get, but before that I would think she would be more supportive when Nicole was showing doubts about divorcing Ted.

Hahaha, I loved this.

OMG yes it was.

Is that a reference to

Same. Andre has worked his way back into my good graces.

And that montage. Perfection. Can't say the same for Ashley.

Actually it was a reference to THIS diva.
