Yessss!!! To that last SilkPress scene...it was nice to get her POV through Eva to get where her headspace is. Took her mama, took her man, almost took Eva. There's your thoroughline. And next week...it looks like she WILL be giving what Hayley did not by moving behind the gates.

Speaking of Hayley...kinda annoyed her storyline vanished.

And woooow Chels really got kidnapped!!! lol.

NEXT WEEK looks great. Let the games begin.

Silk Press Sheila continues to entertain me with her little nicknames for Kat.. and this have not is beaming when a have not gets to move into the same circles as the elitist families like the Duprees.   I'm always team Have not over the Haves :)

Finally we get a Bill/Chelsea scene.. long overdue since he seems to have most of his scenes with Naomi and Dani with Chelsea.

Finally a good Friday cliffhanger :)

I think Colby looks nice with the vivid hues of the flowers.  I know colorful isn't the character Kat's personal style, but I'd like to see her wear a vivid color every now and then.

I'm sure to be alone in this, but getting rid of Ted altogether will be a little bit of a copout. I believe the writers should put some effort into making him more likable. Ted should be a big deal on this show. He needs some serious characterization, delve more into his life before Nicole, learn a bit more about his family and upbringing, and give him a storyline around his career. A Black male plastic surgeon on TV is very rare. This dude came from humble beginnings and is intelligent, the perfect male character to inspire a 13-year-old boy watching with his grandma. I want better for Ted.

Well.  I liked how pretty Kat looked holding the flowers.  But that's the only thing I liked today.

have not enjoyed BTG at all this week.   I can't stand Leslie.  She's not fun for me at all.   This has been the worst week of the show for me.

The point of soaps is entertainment.  I'm not having fun with this anymore.  I forced myself to watch every episode this week and hated it all.  BTG is a show I have truly loved and supported all this time.   But I'm not going to invest my energy into something that makes me angry and annoyed.  I'm out.

And me, I'm the exact opposite; I enjoyed this week. And I'm really glad that we got a classic Friday cliffhanger too.

But I still think they're moving too fast though

I can't argue with you over the pacing. I agree, they are, and you can lose some of the dramatic flair that way. Overall, I liked this week.

Honestly... I've been in this position when it comes to this show... many times... but didn't dare to say it out loud. Hearing it from someone else... I  completely understand you and get how you feel. I personally come back week after week... just to see if they'll improve. Some days I have my hopes up... And some days I'm just ready to quit.

I appreciate all your thoughts about the show, so I'll miss you if you stop watching. So I personally hope this is just a bad moment and you'll give it another chance. ❤️ But if not... That's absolutely fine too.

Leslie calling Bill Billy Goat wrecked me lmao. Im elated she's a part of the community.  I look forward to her hijinks and can't wait to see more of her and Bill in whatever capacity.

Poor Hayley. You picked the wrong time to "miscarry" because with Chelsea abducted Bill and Dani are about to get closer than ever. I think its high time we get to see that inner troublemaker because we all know its there.

And I agree with/ @Maxim take all the time you need. Your thoughts and opinions are always welcome here. I certainly have been there before and said it out loud, LOL. Soap watching can be stressful.  I do hope to one day read your comments on the show again, but until then...😉

You're not alone. Ted can definitely be saved and Keith can more than handle the task.  I always love his scenes with Andre and really enjoyed him and Bill waxing poetics today.

DANI:  "If SHE is Barbara's daughter, then I'm Serena Williams!"

MISS NICOLE: "Call me Venus."

🤣🤣

And then Wig Mama called Mr. Hamilton "Billy Goat".  In the preview she squealed, "Unhand me, demon!!"  They were killing me today.

Seriously, how on earth did Leslie get a membership in the club?  Did she just walk in there, plop down some cash, and someone signed her up, like the ticket window at the movie theater?  The country club I belong to has an "admissions committee", and they can accept or reject anyone's application. And you have to wait until the admissions committee convenes to find out whether or not they accepted your application.  With that gigantic painting of Paul Cheeks Dupree prominently hanging on the wall, you'd think the admissions committee might BALK at admitting Cruella De Vil when they know she's the wigged nemesis of Paul Cheeks Dupree's granddaughter.

Mmmm...this whole Leslie trust fund thing. She has enough to buy a house opposite the Duprees?

And agree about  the CC thing. Would be more interesting to see Leslie have to make an application and an interview, feeling inadequate up against a snooty committee. And maybe she resorts to some scheming to get accepted. eg seduces a 'respectable' board member.

It's like they want her in the midst of things and tore through story to do it. I was  hoping that as a new show BTG wouldn't have to resort to these type of contrivances to  move plot.

I think with the pacing being too fast or too slow, they are still missing the mark in a lot of ways, but that's mostly because it's not being written to begin with.

Leslie seems much less Sheila Carter now, and more of a watered down Veronica Harrington. Veronica was both crazy and very cartoonish.
