I’m not sure how Avery Kristen Pohl was eligible for the guest category since the final few weeks of her contract fell at the beginning of the eligibility period, but I’m thrilled for her and hope she wins.

LOL at Tajh Bellow getting nominated after GH faded him out unceremoniously.

Jonathan Jackson is a joke. What did he even do but look musty?

I was gonna write “musty, dusty, and crusty” but he looked too greasy to be dusty lol. Anyway, that’s a name-check nomination if there ever was one. Actually, the only interesting categories IMO are the guest performances and the “Emerging Talent” one.

Damn B&B was beyond snubbed 😂😂😂😂😂

Hoping for Days to win big but yeah I’m not really crazy about any category.

I’m surprised Giovanni Mazza didn’t get nominated for Emerging Talent. I wonder if he’ll be eligible next year

The lead male category nominees are terrible.

That’s not the only one 😂😂

B&B isn't nominated due to a RULE, not a snub:

Daytime Emmys News & Notes About Nominations

The default nominee target for each category is five (5) nominees and one (1) winner. However, there are some categories (notably, Daytime Drama Program and Daytime Personality – Daily) where the number of nominees is fewer. According to National Awards Committee guidelines, in any category where there are fewer than ten (10) submissions, no more than 50% of submitted entries may be nominated. This is a longstanding rule that the National Awards Committee is enforcing across all competitions to ensure the integrity of NATAS competitions and maintain the reputation of excellence for nominees.

This means that The Bold and the Beautiful, The Bay and Neighbours were cut from the final nominations list.

In prior years, they did not enforce the rule, which is why we had four nominees every year, and in recent years, five or six nominees. This year, they are enforcing the rule.

These are such thin nominations, it's a shame they didn't make an effort to throw a few to Neighbours. I guess they just didn't give a damn (and supposedly Neighbours didn't bother to promote to US media anyway).

Do any of you watch The Bay? What did Olivia d'Abo do to get a nomination after so many years in the industry?

Some odd nominations like Greg Rikaart (wasn't he just getting ass and running a failed soap - how is that lead material), and several played out Y&R ladies.

Was Laura Wright a lead this year? What would she submit? Michael's burns, maybe.

Kate Mansi was not a support.

I'm glad for Gregory Harrison, NLG and Blake Berris.

Considering some of the names on the list, this is a year I would have actually thrown Michael Easton in. He did some of his best work in Finn's last few weeks.

So this explains about Neighbours. Thanks.

A shame, although I guess it doesn't make much difference, the show is ending soon anyway.

If Jonathan is in there, I wonder why Alexa Havins isn't. She was more deserving than a few on the list.

I think Michael Easton was more deserving as well. He gave some of his strongest performances during his exit story. Gregory Harrison got in…and Supporting Actor is probably the weakest of the weak categories unless he went Lead or didn’t submit at all.

I agree, and I rarely would praise Easton.

I hope Jane Elliot did not submit as otherwise what a travesty she wasn't nominated.

Vernee Watson was also a natural for supporting actress. Mulcahey used her so well (sadly and unsurprisingly that hasn't continued).

Errol you should post that on Twitter I know some were wondering why Neighbours didn't get a nom
