Did Ted get actual confirmation that Eva was his? Gotten his own paternity test? I do not recall that happening. I don't think any man would allow a woman (and a crazy one at that) to just come to him with a huge allegation like this, and he doesn't get it checked out. Countdown to the revelation that Eva is not Ted's, making him look a little more stupid.

Is BTG taped using three cameras? It's become a regular thing to see some noticeable editing flaws, especially in scenes where two characters are facing each other.

I will say this, Martin does feel like he is Nicole's son when they have scenes together. There's this sense of youthful nervousness that one only has when they don't want to disappoint a parent.

Okay, but now being reminded that Martin has/had presidential ambitions is cracking me up. This man can not be no damn President of the United States.

Jacob knew there was no camera footage from Orphey's, he knows who Lesile is and he definitely knows who Nicole is, he should have walked into Nicole's house and said look there's nothing really here but I have time get a statement and we are going to wrap this up just promise not to get yourself provoked by Lesile again because I don't want to make this a thing. This happens all the time, too.

I am ranting about Jacob. I don't mind that he is being played as this overly by the book character because it will obviously bring drama down the line.

• Good on Nicole for going back to work full-time. It's what she should be doing!
• Well, looks like Deadbeat is going to tell his momma some more truths. But, honestly... is it ever a good time?
• The anvils dropping regarding Hayley's pregnancy/non-pregnancy are strong right now.
• I hope Anita and Vernon do tell Naomi what is going on (and somehow under attorney/client privilege). I like that the story is trickling out still.

Notes:

• Actual music recordings of the Articulettes? They should put the music on streaming services; that would be amazing.
• Very happy to see the return of the current wig Arielle Prepetit (Naomi) has on... it suits her the best.
• I applaud Beyond the Gates for consistently delivering "love in the afternoon". Love scenes seem to not exist like this anymore. It's refreshing.
• Once again, Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole) continues to be a consistent standout!!
• Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill) has more palpable chemistry with Duplaix and Karla Mosley (Karla) than he does with Marquita Goings (Hayley).

Ms. Daphnée Duplaix was fire today!

They really need to drop that run for the presidency stuff. From the beginning, it was an overreach, just as "Anita is an EGOT" is an overreach.
