Same. Plus she’s stuck on 2000’s AMC. Which is fine, but still…

At least we can always count on Greg to mention Becky Jo was part of the original 1937 radio cast of Guiding Light. 😂

I'm finally watching the Cameron Mathison episode and gosh, I love him and Rebecca so much. I love how close they are, making each other cry, and realizing that they, along with Alicia, were best friends during their time at AMC

Cameron has been through SO much in the last several years, I feel bad for him. But he has such a great spirit and attitude. What an inspiration.

Does anyone else find it strange that Greg and Rebecca usually begin each new episode as if it is just a continuation of the previous episode?  I realize they may be shooting these episodes back-to-back, but I've never seen/heard a podcast or a talk show begin episodes in that manner.  It's strange and off-putting in my opinion.

Ohh I didn't realize Season 2 was coming out so quickly, I love it. Anyone know who the guests will be? I tried to Google it, but couldn't find anything beyond Season 1.

A redemption arc for a psychotic stalker was to make him GAY? And how this could be "special for the show". Bradley Bell... WTF. People (writers, producers) really need to stop USING the gay community for clout and ratings. WE ARE DONE WITH THIS.

Also Lisa... just revealed that Luna was supposed to be this virginal innocent girl... and then one time she asked Brad to "make her bad" and he did.  I mean... WE WERE TELLING EVERYONE THAT THIS WAS A RE-WRITE and that she WAS indeed raped... but some people were saying she was planned evil from the start. OK... Now you now.

Does it really matter if it was a re-write? The story should never have been written in the first place. This show has a very bad track record with stories like that and Brad Bell is not a good enough writer (to put it mildly) to be able to pull it off anyway.

What do you mean does it matter? It clearly matters to me. Because I feel incredibly uncomfortable about re-writing a rape storyline with making the girl the aggressor and the one "wanting it" and "had the best sex in her life".  I was seeing comments through the months from people saying it was always meant to be a twist and that somehow we didn't see it... and I always disagreed. The fact that we saw her crying in her room alone after the rape was proof to me that the initial storyline was always about this innocent girl to be raped. The re-write was shocking and disgusting and denying it was rewrite bothered me, yes. Very much. So hearing how this was a DECISION made last minute by Bradley Bell... influenced by the actress (per her own words)... make it even more shocking to me. And even more disgusting. A rape victim should NEVER be rewritten to be the aggressor... in a way that denied what we saw and our own intelligence. It was an ugly "escape" in terms of writing that left a bad taste in my mouth and quite frankly... I should have ditched the show right then and there.

I see your point, and I agree. I just think that the story should never have been written, whether it was a re-write or planned all along. Being a re-write did make it worse, but Brad Bell should steer clear of this kind of story regardless, because he doesn't have the writing skill for it.

ETA: And with the way the story unfolded I don't understand how anyone can say that it wasn't a re-write.

Brad Bell should steer clear of any writing... period. That part I agree with 100 percent. We were very disgusted with the storyline in the beginning phase too... the way it was projected. But then the rewrite made it sooo much more disgusting, rape-denying to 1928901200th level. So I'm glad that at least Lisa knowingly or on accident... cleared the speculation if it was planned or not. Now we at least know for sure... Bell clearly chose to be this disgusting.

And he clearly continues down that path with the current Luna/Will rape story.
