Hayley was so mad when Dani was talking to Bill. The problem for Hayley is that Dani can carry on a conversation with Bill that doesn't shift into being about sex while almost everything Hayley talks about ends being about sex.

lol. I stay loving how this show does near-misses in their plots. So I take it now that this is the third time...as well as what's going on with Derek/Ashley...a Dani/Andre reveal is coming.

 

Hmmm...I kinda want to see Dani like how she just was with Tomas. Dangerous. But than she went back to being wacky with Bill and Hayley. Not to mention so un self-aware.

 

Oh, lord...Chels and Kat figured it out, too? lol. This reveal has got to be coming.

True. That was part of the reason I was liking that Bill and Hayley were actually given a little more substance today.

Forgot to comment on Martin's secret. Could it be that he killed someone in self-defense during a robbery? "What color is your money?" sounds like something a robber would say.

I'm only 10 minutes in on today's show, but I'm already rolling my eyes. I hope this gets better in the last 50.

-- Bill is still in the hospital, and that is absurd. Dr. Montgomery gave Bill a weak leg push and that's supposed to be physical therapy? It's all too unrealistic.

-- While I'm glad to see a new set, that "workplace" for Chelsea's and Kat's new business doesn't look anything like a workspace. Big plastic bins do not signify up-and-coming designers.

-- Ashley frantically looks to Andre for advice because she thinks Derek might "want to talk"? Is this girl 13???

May I ask how? When I had P.T. for my first stroke, I had similar P.T. done.

I get that everyone has opinions but every thing you post about the show is extremely critical so why are you still watching? It seems like you don't care for it.

I make comments about BTG that I would make about any of the other soaps. No one is forced to agree with me or to follow me.

-- I think Martin's story is a good one, but the actor playing the mystery busboy is really bad.

-- Ben Gavin had his best day on the soap today. He was good with Naomi and very natural in those restaurant scenes with Ashley. The writing for Ashley is so bad I can't comment on Jen Jacob.

-- I want Derek to realize he deserves better than Ashley. We're definitely getting a dream sequence next week where Ashley dreams she's with Andre.

-- Dani's takedown of Tomas (regarding his relationship with Kat) was something else. Girl should look in the mirror. She had no business warning the guy.

-- The new set is confusing. Are we to believe Andre unlocked the front door to the house and then moved through various rooms to get to that workplace? I thought at first the entrance was a double patio door to the outside.

It's not new; it's been there since the beginning.

Honestly, I still enjoy everything about the show (except Ashley).

I was just going to say that. We have seen it a few times now. I'm assuming it's a separate detached living space like a pool house/guesthouse out back. From what has been mentioned vaguely, that kitchen door that people love walking into Dani's house from is located in her backyard...which I guess isn't all that weird since I know many people due to garages or other scenarios don't necessarily enter from the front door. I actually assumed Andre walked to the backyard as he usually does and noticed the guesthouse light was on and walked in expecting Dani to be there. 

The Ashley and Derek story is so stupid it is nearly insulting. These two adults are so juvenile in their relationship that the scenes are actually painful to watch. It makes me dislike Andre more and more each time. 

Also, I am confused about Martin's secret. I assumed that Martin knew what it was and that he was keeping it secret because it was so awful it could ruin him and his family. Now suddenly it seems that he doesn't actually know what his dream is about but he is keeping it a secret because his grandparents are telling him it is in his own best interest. The second scenario created a bunch of holes for me. If Martin was having weird dreams why wouldn't he confide in Smitty, his partner who he sees everyday? How did this bypass his partner and parents (although the parents part is more believable because we hardly see Martin interact with them) to get to his grandparents quick enough for them to scare him into keeping quiet, especially since he doesn't even know what he's dreaming about.

Honestly, the character is the worst. The writing is doing her no favors. Andre loves blowing smoke up her cheeks that she is the greatest thing ever, but then she's spiraling like a manic 14-year-old that her boyfriend is going to break up with her because of something so minor when her and her grown ass man don't even communicate to one another. Yet, they parade their issues to everyone with ears. I'm like Andre that's the woman you want? Then go ahead, baby. Take her and go photograph in the Maldives and go far, far away.

Yeah, it's a guest house, which Dani converted into a modeling studio when she was managing Chelsea's modeling career (as expressed in script). I'm assuming Andre, like you, walked in from the backyard or some kind of yard space. But I like that it's a set that served a purpose, and they were able to repurpose it a bit without changing too much or having to build something new.
