If Dante held his son accountable first and then started yelling at others I could understand.  He was panicked.  He just lost Sam.  Dante is now just blaming everyone else for something his son did.  That's not helping Rocco at all.

-- This is maddening. DZ is acting his ass off, but the script is a mess. As you said, if Dante came down hard on Rocco, these outbursts would make some sense. Comparatively, though, Rocco got a pass, and that's just insane. Dante's not only criticizing Danny and Gio, but the people who raised them. It's just nuts.

-- And then Dante goes to his father -- the mob boss killer WHO SHOT DANTE -- to declare Danny "reckless at heart." JFC.

-- Kai was in the hospital for that dislocated shoulder about 3x as long as Sonny was in the hospital for his heart. Make it make sense.

I agree DZ is doing good work.  It's nice to see him getting meaty material again.  It's just off.

Sonny was also low key the voice of reason saying when talking about Gio which I don't love lol.  And, yes, Dante calling a 15? 16? kid who had a couple of beers reckless at heart is silly.  I think most people had a few drinks in high school.

In isolation, the scenes with Jason/Danny were good when he was talking about AJ's drinking problem.  If you ignore everything else about what Jason did to AJ it was a good historic throwback.

-- Off, indeed. I wrote my rant while watching the show. Then I heard Dante mention manslaughter and Danny in the same sentence. Just over-the-top ridiculousness.

-- Is Brad written off for good? If so, what a lousy exit.

-- Portia is looking sooooooo dumb these days. Just clueless as to how she's coming across.

I don't really read spoilers, but Perry Shen seems to come and go so even if this is an "exit" it's probably not permanent.

I imagine Brad will blow through all the money in a year and come crawling back, just as Portia warned him not to.

He'll probably return when whatever is going on between Marco and Lucas hits the rocks.

Now, I'm not sure why you'd doubt the potential success of Mucas.

Rocco's drinking binge writing is awful. Why is Dante not blaming himself and Rocco? The kid is dumb. Danny told him not to drink the booze in the cup. Duh!😂

Haven't watched yet. Is Chris' name before Elizabeth, or was that just how you posted it? Previously, it had been Elizabeth, then Chris.

Under the Korte/Van Etten regime, it alternates every single day. So yesterday it was "Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten" and today it was "Chris Van Etten, Elizabeth Korte".

So, if we get a five-day week, one week it'll be three Korte first credits and two Van Etten second credits; then the following week, it'll be three Van Etten first credits and two Korte second credits.

So on Monday, Korte will be credited first (a three-day Korte lead credit).

I believe they rotate who is first.

Anyway…. The audience turning on Dante was such a 180.

Just shows you how quickly audiences respond to out-of-character writing.

This is Day 3 of the Dante Ranting Tour wherein he bashes everyone else's parenting and everyone else's kid. He could not be more obnoxious.
