Damn, poor Laura

Welp Leslie is done for. I hope they don't keep her around like other soaps do villain's, when all this is exposed

Which is why I said they moved too fast with this.

Yes I mean we have YET to have him share a single scene with his own father

Everyone keeps mentioning Keith acting abilities but that's not the major Issue with Ted. There was no reason to take it down this path and the writers gave themselves outs!

These unexpected character connections and still not a proper father/son connection for Ted and Martin. They should've been amongst the very first.

I forget Martin is Ted's son. They've had zero interaction.

Ted has never interacted with Martin. I think Nicole did once. And, they both have never interacted with their grandchildren.  It feels odd this far into the show.

They could have changed Martin to be the youngest child of Anita and Vernon before the show's debut without making that many edits. I have been watching carefully, and Martin has only had a handful of scenes with Nicole which could be cut and replaced. The bits of dialogue where Martin refers to Anita and Vernon as his grandparents could simply be altered with automated dialogue replacement.

It's too late now, but it's a shame the change wasn't implemented. Especially seeing today's good scenes between Anita, Vernon and Samantha and Tyrell. I can't imagine Nicole and Ted having these kinds of grandparenty interactions. They would look more like Ted and Nicole's kids than grandkids. If Nicole and Ted needed a child aside from Kat you could say they have a son who is away at college.

Keith Robinson is an excellent actor. He will definitely bring it up a notch or two.

He really is .

I'm kind of nervous now because I don't want them to write Leslie in a corner they can't get her out of because the actress is too good.

I support women who are child-free.  Just saying, this being a soap, I wonder if Laura is actually Mona's niece, daughter, or ?

I hope not. I like them this way; it cool to see characters find their chosen families out in the world. At least, that's what I hope is happening.

I agree with you.  A chosen family would be more resonant for modern times.

Yeah he is getting better. Reminds me of what Kelly Ripa once said, she was telling a story of how green of an actress she was when she joined AMC and they made her take acting classes and she got better

I think just giving people time to improve is good lol

Indicating that black men aren't supposed to be seen as good or refined.

Martin might be Anita's child that they gave to Nicole?

I'm on this train too. It could certainly explain why we haven't had much scenes with Ted and Nicole

Where was that implied. Will you expound.
