Members Paul Raven
So of course Jack loved the redo of the Abbott manse. That gave Fred MacMurray the chance to go into teary mode and deliver some ACTING. When he questioned the pink sofa fabric, Diane reminded him that he loved the very same velvet in Traci's NY apartment. Diane, dear, just because he liked it in one setting doesn't mean it's right in another. And then the ugly portrait above the fireplace is revealed to be a gift from Dina to John in 1956. She found it hidden away in the attic. John obviously thought a lot of it if it had been stored up there for decades. And Jack was moved because his parents shared such a beautiful love story. Maybe BITD Dina picked it up the painting on her way home from banging the golf pro. Moving on, Josh decides it's been a minute since someone had a job offer, Chelsea is going to be Newman Media's new COO!! Plot twist. Have to say Adam looked better with the short haircut. And Holden looked good in the leather shirt/jacket. As for Audra's dress, does she iron it or water it ? Members Broderick
After Diane's grand announcement that the painting found in the attic was a 1956 gift from Dina to John, I was waiting for her to say, "Oh! And I also found the bloody GOLF CLUB your mother bludgeoned Brent Davis half to death with in 1971! It's now over here in the bookshelf with Traci's novels as well as some classics!"
Members Paul Raven
LOL! As for Traci's books, I didn't see any-just lots and lots ...and lots of fusty looking 'classics'. Diane's decorating go-to's seem to be old books, lots of prints and tall dark furniture. The entrance has a tall wooden cabinet, there's two tall bookcases and another dark tall piece in the living room and guess what's in the dining room?-another tall dark wood display case. Girl needs to learn about scale and variety. And then there's the urns on the mantel, the ferns atop the bookcases hiding more prints and the tiny side table and coffee table with books on them. Mrs Abbott needs to learn there's change and there's improvement-one doesn't necessarily lead to the other.

Members ranger1rg
We got a better look at the renovation on Friday's U.S. show, and I honestly don't understand the criticism. I think it looks great, and I am so relieved they didn't erase the history of that room. I think it's a beautiful set that represents the legacy of that Y&R look. So many things could have gone wrong with that redesign, but they nailed it. GH has so many more sets than Y&R, and I love that, but I'd much rather have this look than the sort of generic look we get all over Port Charles -- as if every home and apartment and workspace is designed by the same team.

Members j swift
Please register in order to view this content I'm unfamiliar with anything stage left of the living room, obviously stage right is the dining room, the kitchen is attached to that, and the office is upstage, behind the stairs, everyone slept upstairs in the past. Members Aback
Thank you. so, the original set did look like a mausoleum. But I don’t see how the new set qualifies as ‘modern’? With that fugly painting over the fireplace. Anyway… Wait, the Jabot offices are supposed to be upstairs?!
Members j swift
No, their home office/primary suite is on the other side of the foyer opposite the living room But, in the past, John and all three kids slept upstairs Edited 20 hours ago by j swift
Members Taoboi
4-22 I honestly wouldn't be trying to get through this week if it wasn't for the fact that CBS is messing with their player on when things leave/get added on to it again. So Kyle and Claire are going to try to live together? Le sigh. I did kinda like the conversation between her and Nikki and Victoria. Still...why? So are they really going there with Tessa and Daniel? I have liked the stray scenes between them, but this one has been more...pointed? And meh at Giggly Heffa going back to status quo. And that was what I was afraid of since the idea of Phyllis dealing with the PTSD of Martin and going off in a new direction was at least intriguing. But here she goes again with being annoying and starting with Sally. So this week is already off to a meh start. Let's see how Wednesday goes which going by synopsis will be more to my liking just because the characters that I'm really interested will be featured.
