Webmaster Errol Posted March 3 Webmaster Share Posted March 3 “General Hospital” has cast actor and model Bryce Durfee in the recurring role of Vaughn, Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) handler at the WSB. According to Soap Opera Digest, which first reported the news via an interview with the actor, Durfee makes his debut on the Friday, March 7 episode of the daytime drama series. “I was anxious in the sense that I didn’t know what to expect because I knew the soap world moves fast. But as far as the performance, I had just finished another project and was feeling loose and ready to go, so I was really excited for that,” said Durfee of his first day on the job. “That first day was just a whirlwind! I kind of felt like I got thrown into a washing machine and I got spit out an hour later [laughs],” he continued. “That’s kind of how I remember that first day. I can’t wait to see how it turned out!” It turns out that Durfee could have landed in Port Charles a lot sooner had the show cast him as Harrison Chase back in 2018 instead of Josh Swickhard, who happens to be a pal of Durfee’s from their modeling days. “It was down to me, Josh and I think a third guy,” Durfee recalled. “And the best man got it! Josh is absolutely fantastic, and I was really excited to run into him on [the] set recently.” Another “General Hospital” connection for Durfee comes from his time starring in the PassionFlix original series “Driven,” which also featured Charles Shaughnessy, who played Victor Cassadine on the soap opera from 2021-2023. Also starring in “Driven” was “Days of our Lives” alum Casey Diedrick (ex-Chad DiMera). The series ran for just three seasons and produced 16 episodes. Before he makes a name for himself in Port Charles later this week, which marks Durfee’s first speaking role on a daytime drama series, the actor previously appeared in a 2012 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful” as a male model. Durfee’s other credits include roles on such shows as “Last Man Standing,” “Man with a Plan,” “9-1-1,” “Hacks,” “Baby Daddy” and “Aquarius,” among others. Members DRW50
I see he was in some episodes of a Passionflix show. I wonder if that is even still around. Chris McKenna was in one of their movies - someone in casting must be a fan.

Members Khan
If he has any talent at all, then he doesn't belong on ANY soap (with BTG being the possible exception); and if he has NO talent at all, then he's right where he belongs.

Members BrendaB
Joss' WSB story is much better than Emma's antiquated Students Against Animal Cruelty non-story and Trina's sad-sack story with the injured quarterback and newfound love of "art." They all should be out of college by now, too, having been in school for eons. This show does not know how to write for 20somethings or teens, at all.
