Sexiest men for me.

1. Vernon - stunning man. CLASS.

2. Bill - sexy as hell

3. The older detective guy - trashy type of sexy

4. Ted - giiirl.

5. Derek - gay escort-type sexy... but no dialogue lines, please.

I'll bite.

  1. Serial Killer Ted
  2. Big Bad Bill
  3. Bradley (I refuse to call him Smitty)
  4. AHN-dre
  5. I guess Martin would be here but he is so robotic and off-putting to watch. Same problem with Tomas and Derek, who are dreadful.
  6. I do like Doug!

Jacob comes off too weak for me to register right now. Hopefully that changes. Both he and Naomi are boring/remedial to me.

@Contessa Donatella Thanks for your compliments.  I do see we jive on a lot of similarities and that is refreshing for me as a fellow daytime viewer.

I too watched Days in the early 80's, but All My Children was my go to and favorite soap. I hate they way both shows have been torn down and destroyed. Same goes for GH.  I am hoping BTG and its popularity will make the other networks stand up and take notice and inject some new energy into their respective shows. I also hope that ABC will realize that there is still life, breath and energy in daytime and get rid of GMA 3, The View etc and give it back to our soaps

Sorry did not realize her name did not have an S on the end.  I do hope that they will flesh out her story. more and dive into her back story with her mom and her friendship with Naomi.

I do think Vernon has some skeletons in his closet that are yet to come out.

We know Bill and Dani took in Hayley as she had no family, but has it been stated in dialogue that she was a child or teen when they took her in?  If so, then yeah, that's very icky.
But they could have taken her in as an adult in her early twenties, new to town getting her bearings, with no family.  I don't think it's been stated specifically.  Just that she and Naomi were friends.

Did Hayley ever live with Dani and Bill? I believe this was stated:  Dani had suggested that Bill hire Hayley for the law office.  Dani said that Hayley had been in their bed, but I don't know if Bill brought her home or if she was already living there.

Did they "take her in" literally, to live in their home?
Or did they "take her in" only metaphorically --
as in "we took you into our lives/hearts" ... with her living elsewhere but coming over to dinner and hanging out with Naomi, and the Hamiltons professionally mentoring her, being supportive, etc.?  With Naomi being a peer friend and Dani being an older friend?

These are good questions.  I missed some of the nuances on first watch.

    • It has come up in this thread before that early on it was specified that Another World was set in Bay City, Michigan, but somewhere along the line the references shifted to Illinois-ish.    I have tried and failed to find any specific clear reference to Michigan, although there have been some circumstantial details that suggest Bay City is not in Illinois. i notice that the AW Bible begins by describing the location as simply "not far from Oakdale", but things do change (Pat was originally called Cynthia) and we can't take that as pure canon.
    • At this point (and I've changed my tune several times), I'd fully rest the Cassadine family at this point.

    • The loooong pan around the room that ends in actual action with Maria and Edmund vs. just silently surveying the damage is very technically impressive. I don't think I've ever seen more than bits and pieces of this; my viewing was very spotty early on in '93/'94. I mostly remember the aftermath.
    • Disgusting how Gilly was written out. I'm glad I was not watching that travesty. Petronia Paley deserved better as well.   Interesting to me how so many viewers wanted Annie to succeed--the same way they were so invested in Marian/Brett.

Oh how I wish Angela Lansbury would have called out Les Moonves and put him on blast.
    • The first time I cried from a soap, Zane's death. I cried for 3 days.
    • Very happy to see GH hit #1 on Hulu! The show's been on fire and deserves the added eyeballs.
    • I really appreciated all the movement in today's episode.  It resonated with me that it felt like the sort of nervous energy that can surround a family after death. I want to point out the EJ scene.  I was riveted by his multi-layered performance. When he told Belle that he went to her because he loved her, and then saw that she was embarrassed by him, and rejected the part of her that was attracted to him.  It started to make even more sense why he would try to protect Johnny (who I still don't think shot him).  EJ feels like a pariah (although TBH, it wouldn't have hurt to bring Marlena some of that tea that everyone had been promising her all morning).  And he doesn't want to pass that along to his son by exposing him as the shooter.  It is interesting that we see none of those same concern between Kristen and lil'Rachel.
    • -- What a stupid party. Devon and Abby leave while Victor goes upstairs to the GCAC bar and talks with Kyle. Then we see Jack giving Nikki ANOTHER birthday toast as if the party has just begun. Huh??? -- This party perfectly encapsulates sweeps month for this show: lame, deadly, boring af. -- Once again, Cole gets really sick and no one insists on an ambulance or the ER. They really want him dead, don't they? Instead we hear multiple characters say "Gee, I hope Victoria doesn't catch it." Cole will be dead before Dumas. -- Kyle is really offering to make a contract with Victor so he can continue to see Claire? Jesus Wept. -- And then the shoe ends with Victor praising Nikki for softening his heart over the years -- after we've seen him treat Kyle, Michael, and Jack like sh_it for days.
