LOL I’m also glad Billy isn’t anywhere near the Damian story either. Had him and Lily still be more involved like they were for the 2-3 years there, I can only imagine Billy running around GC like a maniac telling everyone how Damian is evil and jumping over rooftops to prove this (bad memories from Who Shot Chance back in 2020)

I think I’m about 5 episodes behind now which I haven’t been since I got into the Sharon/Heather story. I’m tempted to just fast forward anything that’s not the Damian story to get caught up.

I saw Billy (in an ugly shirt) talking about Abbott Media and wonder why they are still pursuing the stupid media stuff? it's not like we have ever seen any actual product from any of these media companies.

Jabot should be the business focus on the show.

JG is convinced that all anyone cares about for a soap is who is running company’s that we never see the work of. As lame as it is, on DAYS the Spectator is a newspaper that actually had a column that everyone reads and reacts to. I have no idea what any company does outside of Jabot.

3-3

Yeah let me come out of my BTG high and play catch up. lol. It does help this (and RHOA) are about to be background noise as I start on some much needed spring cleaning. But I thought this episode was off to a good start.

Of course, I'm saying that because the A plot was the Damian storyline. Love that Amy and Damian had dinner to talk. I also love that Nate, Lucy, and Devon had a brief meeting. I did holler when Nate found out that Lily used Victor to get info on Damian. But now here comes the next reveal. If Damian is just the CEO of the company that his name is attached...than WHO is the man behind the man? If it's Tucker, I will fall out. IF it's Billy, I will throw something at my television. This has been the only story with legs so far this year and all the reveals have been good. So no abrupt plot twist please.

While it's weird that Nate is trying to go off on Lily for looking into Damian, I like the writers at least spelled out what Nate's worries are. I wonder if Nate could even be a spoiler between Damian/Lily if they start to go in that direction.

Hmmm it is really seem liking Diane is going to do a complete change to the Abbott mansion. I can't say that I'm not now getting curious. What is Ed Scott up to?

Hehe at Giggly Heffa being a C plot/throwaway line this episode.

Get out of my head!!!

3-5

Thank Goodness that 3-6 is bringing it with the Damian storyline as I sit here and clean and rearrange. But I'll give the last two episode their due...they haven't been THAT bad. I didn't even fast forward through Adam and Chelesa as much as I ignored them in 3-4. But they had good stuff in 3-5.

So slowly people are realizing that Sharon and Giggly Heffa are missing. I'm not sure if Daniel should have brought Billy into the loop, but here we are. And now Billy can't tell Jack what's going on...moreso now that Victor is on the warpath.

And I'm always here for Victor/Nikki vs Jack/Diane. So far the highlight of the week outside of the Damian storyline. They were throwing so much shade at each other that I've enjoyed it. The couple that has the united front together (even if they have drama behind closed doors) stays together. lol. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Victor knows what Jack/Billy are up to cuz VICTOR, but still I wonder just like the two of them how does he know.

And then Billy finding out about Adam and Chelesa...not to mention Adam clear jealousy of Chelesa still being close to Billy...got some interesting scenes out of it. And Adam also knowing about Billy's new company. I have to giggle at how everyone always picks on Billy for how he names any company.

That said...so far, so good.

Noticing that they seem to be done to about 4 sets per episode and one conversation/meet up can last the whole episode.

It's FF material.

Hopefully BTG will continue to thrive and they might be forced to up the budget to compete.

Who is holding Shaz and Phyl hostage? Wouldn't be surprised at anything Joshie comes up with.

I can't believe that CBS/Sony are approving his stories. They are AWFUL.

    • Am I remembering correctly that the Madison's lived in a Spanish revival-style house? I have a vague recollection of the fireplace looking especially Spanish in style. It is unusual that Montecello had so many architectural styles.  Obviously, that might occur IRL.  But, look at other east coast soaps and there is a definitive style that is throughout (because it was styled by a set decorator) regardless of the income of the occupants.
    • @kalbir MSW was a powerhouse for CBS. Angela Lansbury was a superb actress. In 1985, TV viewers were tiring of the primetime soaps and the like. People wanted storytelling and MSW was great at that and had great guest stars. Storytelling -- an amazing and novel concept. CBS Daytime by 1985 was beating ABC so CBS was on the upswing.
    • I'd say just the opposite - conflict means they will find out and then be at odds. For the limited amount of time people on this show have conflict (if they aren't named Nina or Ric, I guess).
    • Totes mcgoats (aka I agree). But, now the character needs to move forward.  Clyde's exit was 12/11/24.  It is May.  She and Chad have been on one date. I don't think they've slept together. And she was only planning on sticking around for a year.
    • That is one of the best insults I've heard in a long time.  I burst out laughing when Kat called Eva that.  LOL Their scenes, of course, were really good.  Colby and Ambyr have so much chemistry.  The only thing I'd change is Kat saying "you're dead to me."  That's a phrase usually said about someone you care about.  I would've preferred something like "You will never be my sister," or something similar to that.  Nice contrast at the end with both mothers/daughters:  Kat comforting/consoling her mother, and Eva being locked out by her mother.  Yeah, I wasn't a big of fan of the singing either, especially after your daughter's life has been destroyed.  What?  LOL And I also agree with those that thought Dana/Leslie's scenes with the Dupree's didn't feel right since Eva is not a Dupree....unless she is.  But as of right now, she's not.
    • Trisha Mann-Grant, Ambyr Michelle, Sean Freeman are destined for bigger and better things. They need to move on as soon as their initial contracts are done.
    • Daphnée Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant on Instagram live, 5/5/2025 just concluded, saved here https://www.instagram.com/p/DJSsYb7PDv8/
    • I really need to see Anita in a scene that isn't with a family member. In fact, I would have preferred that she would have gotten rid of the mob and had a one on one with Leslie to lay down the law with her.  I'm going to say it, Mike Manning has been completely lifeless on this show. Other than people's superficial fondness for him, I don't get what they see in him as an actor. I never saw him on DAYS though. The show had another really strange cut right before the opening credits where it looked like they almost cut off Nicole mid-sentence.  Kat/Eva are carrying this show on their backs. Lock them in for lifetime contracts, I beg.
    • There's a 1980 scene of Victor and Katherine in the Chancellor Estate living room where they went over a contract that would put Victor in charge of Chancellor Industries, but it was rewritten that Katherine brought Victor to Genoa City so he could run Chancellor Industries.
    • Put me in the minority in being happy about Cat not being Abby. After the two adult recasts played tag with the role, it's time for a few years of rest. I have a huge list of things I hate about RC's writing, but that choice was not one of them.
