I think it's okay to show shirtless guys who don't have a six pack, just as it's okay to show women who aren't size 0 in a bikini.

I continue to enjoy Drew as this type of bad guy. We need more villains like this - someone who isn't a threat to kill someone, or trying to take over the world, or a mob related bad guy. Love watching him reveal to Portia that he knows about falsified records.

Drew is such a prick now and everyone knows it except Willow. Cameron is perfect in this new portrayal of Drew Quartermaine. I’m curious which lie or scheme will be the one to blow up their relationship.

I also liked that Brad had an average body.

We got so little of TJ’s point of view. And then they broke them up and he just vanished so the show could really hammer home that we shouldn’t care about him because they don’t care about him.

Cody feels old for Molly. And they have no chemistry.

And lead to his murder mystery.

Oh, we are actually getting Miami. Not that there's anything wrong with average.

Except your taste is better than Ron.

Drew’s blackmail scheme doesn’t make a ton of sense because exposing Portia would require him to come out in favor of Heather’s release…which happened already anyway. Politically it seems like it would behoove him to stay away from the whole situation.

It's another way to phase Trina out of the show in a way where they know viewers won't miss her.

I don't see how it can, but hopefully they will not have a massive drop.

GH's drop week-on-week wasn't that bad. The issue is more the drop from this time last year. Unfortunately, they are likely to read the wrong tea leaves, especially since they made some changes that should have been good for the show last year and their only reward was a sizable ratings drop they haven't fully recovered from.

Molly is an interesting case because the actresses who have played her as an adult seem younger than the character might be in other hands. Like Belle on DAYS, who immediately seemed 40 once Martha Madison took over. I see the previous Molly (the one who lasted about five minutes) was 40, although I don't remember if that was noticeable onscreen.

Haley Pullos looked too young to play the surrogate story and this current stuff.  And, yes, it was very noticeable when OldMolly was playing the part lol. She looked 40.

The current Molly looks older than HP of course.  I believe KV is 28 which is what I imagine Molly's age should be.  She's probably been aged up a bit since HP left the role.  There is no way Cody isn't 40 given the whole Dante/Brook/Gio story.  Dante and Cody are older than BLQ.  JK looks his age (42).  In real life, that wouldn't necessarily give me a pause.  Molly seems pretty mature.  I just think about DZ playing a full grown adult when Molly was a child so Cody just seems like an entire different generation in age.

Don't even get me started on MM as Belle.  Yes, she looked like a 40 year old soccer mom from the jump lol.

Martha Madison was always a bad, bland choice who looked too old. She has cultivated audience appreciation by being so engaged with fans but she basically ended Belle as a lead over time.

Vaganos comes off a bit too old and stiff for me as Molly, the eternal temp. But I still think they should've just written her and T.J. out. The character is tired and needs a break, and can come back single sometime.

    • If that is the case then it truly was a waste of time as I have not ever, even once, deleted or removed such a post.  The only thing I have ever done even remotely close to that was if I inadvertently posted in the wrong thread & marked it in the wrong spot with that phrase & then posted the content where it was meant to be.
    • Based on script (and script alone), it feels like they're shifting Lois out of story altogether, unfortunately.
    • Lois should be seen more.  Away from this story lol!  With a sexy love interest!
    • Lois is there to [almost] drop the news of Gio's parentage. lmao. And plus, Rena is iconic and should be seen more!
    • Hmmm...Stefano being Benjy's dad is a whole other thing I suppose. Pocket would be (most likely) a grown man now.  It could be interesting for Phillip if he showed up.  I totally get what you are saying about soaps and adoption.  The minute someone finds their biological parent the poor adoptive parents are entirely forgotten about.
    • Thanks for posting that. I didn't know about "Invisible Man" by Ralph Ellison. I knew only "The Invisible Man" by H.G. Wells.   I just spent some time learning about Ellison's novel.  Now I have a lot of work to do, to learn more, to read more.
    • Because it wasn't posted here is the ONLY reason you can still post here. Numerous other examples were posted here, including, but not limited to, your insinuation of a romantic relationship between two actors on General Hospital, the medical condition of another actress from the same show, and the death of an actor from the same show (which you quickly deleted as it clearly wasn't verified, and still hasn't been), just to same a few. You are the reason I implemented the edit button time limit in the first place as you've repeatedly posted something inappropriate (as noted in my previous post and above), got called out on it by other members, and quickly deleted or removed the offending post before @Toups or I even got a chance to see it. As for Drake, I don't care who the hell told you about his medical condition. It wasn't YOUR right to say anything about it. In fact, your post on X/Twitter at the time wasn't worded in the manner in which you were responding to the news being publicly shared. You posted it to break the news. You even PM'd me and Toups, virtually threatening us with an alert that you planned to post it on the Community itself! The [!@#$%^&*]?!?!?! Stop playing innocent or victim. You are neither. Either post as you've been repeatedly asked to, or find some place else. I don't care.
    • Also, I recall the old analogy Max:Brady as Benjy:Johnson (and I guess Pocket:Kiriakis - but, you know I don't like it when they undermine adoptions by calling the biological carriers the “real parents” on soaps — Tyler has lived with his family for a long time now, he is one of them)
    • Frankie Donner and Max Becker are no biological relation, but Frankie took care of him as best he could until Shawn and Caroline adopted them both, changing their name to Brady. Max was mute for a time. Frankie is Carly's brother, which was a later retcon in the early 90's that didn't make much sense at the time. Kind of like Sarah being Neil's daughter, which coincidentally happened around the same time. Anyway, Trent Becker was Max's biological dad. His mom was said to have died. I forget why Trent had abandoned him, but I think he had scenes with Jennifer and Frankie and decided Max was better off with the Brady's and left him in their care without Max seeing him. This was the original story in the 80's. In 2008, he was reformed to be Trent Robbins, played by Roscoe Born. It was revealed he was Nicole's first husband, never previously mentioned, and that Max had a sister Melanie, Trent taught to be a con artist. Melanie obviously turned out to be Daniel and Carly's kid, and Trent was later murdered by Nick, to protect Melanie. Benjy was a deaf kid that Steve and Kayla ended up befriending. The first of Stefano's retconned children. He left town with his grandfather, Orion Hawk.  Pocket was taken care of briefly by Steve and Kayla. This was in the mid 2000's. He is the biological kid of Philip and Melanie after The Gloved Hand (EJ, and Patrick as his forced henchman) switched the fertilized eggs of Mimi, who was married to Shawn, and Belle, who was then married to Philip. Philip and Mimi ended up letting the baby be adopted. As far as the audience knows, his name is now Tyler Wilkins.
