Poor Vaughn.

Another character for Joss to ruin. SMH. Is Frank ever gonna learn that she's never gonna be his new Starr/KA?

But Lois annoyed the hell out of me today too. Like, mind your business. I'm completely Team Ned and Tracy.

And btw, can GH stop mentioning Stone, please? After what that mf'er and this show did to Jagger, they have no right to speak his name anymore

I wished they focused a bit more on Brooklyn finding out her baby was a boy, and her giving up the baby.  As usual, the scenes were too short.  I did like seeing Brooklyn bringing up Lulu's abortion and how they both made choices that they thought were right for them.

Amanda Setton did a really good job in Friday's episode. I don't care if Amanda doesn't do sex scenes, or wants to show a lot of skin. I think she's a solid actress overall. I hope she's stays with GH for a long time.

I agree. both actresses did good jobs. I really liked them discussing both of their pasts & the decisions they made.

The only thing that bothered me was that Lulu didn't connect the dots to realize it means Sonny has a grandchild he doesn't know about. This to me is way more important than Dante not knowing he has another kid.

I've been hard on Amanda Setton and those bedroom scenes, but I agree that she was very good on Friday (as was AH). She shines in those types of confrontations.

That doesn't erase the mess of those bedroom scenes, though. If GH is willing to accommodate her and dress her in layers and layers of clothes, they need to accommodate her further: stop writing those scenes.

Let Chase and Brook Lynn show affection in other ways, in other spaces. When they move to the bedroom, it all gets ridiculous and just plain bad, so stop writing those scenes.

I make fun of AS and the bedroom scenes all the time, but count me in as another person who thought she did well with the material yesterday.  I have never thought Setton was a bad actress. She is just miscast for this role and this is a story Brook Lynn and Dante should never be playing, so I still stand by that.

Sending Josslyn to Spy Camp is the stupidest thing this show has done in years.  I can't wait until Carly finds out what's been going on behind her back with Joss and her lover boy!

    • On GL we only saw young GA's Philip in very short shorts but on AMC we saw GA's Alec McIntyre in a speedo.  But, on GL, an older GA/Philip is having sex with Olivia in a hotel room where Bruce Barry was directing & he & she both end up down to nothing but black underwear & at one point his bicep is covering her entire upper body so it appears that she is naked. I think they ended up on the floor between the bed & the wall. That was when I realized that Grant's body was better than Steve Burton's. (Olivia was cheating. Her husband Alan was in the hospital.) It is notable that I can speak with any insight AT ALL about these bodies since that is not the team I play for! LOL
    • I mentioned that last week and I am glad Tate and Sophia just realized that today lol.  I think the show is just tying up some of Ron's loose ends.   You would think Brady, Holly or even Marlena would have perhaps pointed out the age thing to Tate at some point. I am not sure I like this shift in Sophia's characterization though.  MK played Sophia as someone who always defied her mom's rules-she just didn't get caught.  She was openly trying to steal Tate from Holly with no shame, showing up at the Horton cabin in bikinis to seduce him, and blackmailing Holly to work all her shifts at the Bistro.  Once the recast started the show has acted like Sophia's lived in her room, sheltered her entire life lol.
    • I thought Dante was going to put hands on Gio
    • If Jordan never appeared again, I would absolutely not notice or miss her.  So, while Brook Kerr has her flaws, she at least appears to have a pulse and a personality as Portia.
    • That's because India, or the India MKA ended up playing, was created due to the fact that both she and Kristi Farrell were liked by TPTB, but the part they both read for didn't exactly fit either one of them so the show created two brand new characters for both actresses to play (India and Roxie) and opted not to cast the character they were intending to cast (A cousin of Beth's). I think that's why the show seemed to struggle at first with how to write both India and Roxie in their first months on the show because the characters weren't ever intended to exist.  And yes.. Grant A had a great body... but I didn't find him hot when he was playing Phillip.. only when he was playing Alec on AMC which baffles me since it was the same actor in both parts LOL
    • I shared this on Twitter and good grief the comments. Steffy fans can be such vile real-life human beings over a fictional character lol.
    • I remember Michael Logan interviewed L.A. actors/production staff about the movie. Susan Seaforth Hayes said she was dying to know Susan Lucci's reaction.
    • Thanks @Franko  @slick jones You may be interested in the Elisabeth Shue mention. I have to laugh that they apparently didn't even know Teri Hatcher was on Capitol. I have scans somewhere of SPW talking with soap actors about Soapdish. Some, like Mary Stuart, were not happy. I never had a lot of interest in the movie myself.
    • I never had much of a problem with Brandon Claybon's performance as Martin. He has gotten much better though. While I enjoy his confrontational scenes, I must say his lighter, and carefree scenes from Thursday's episode are the ones that stood out most in the last 3 days (to me).   I agree with all of this!
