I see no problem with posting those clips here. Anyone who doesn't want to see them can keep scrolling. I don't understand making a big deal of this, or any deal at all.

This is the March 2025 discussion thread, dedicated to episodes aired in March 2025. Older episodes can and should be discussed in the classic GH thread, or similar threads. Not this one.

Yes, I can do that. I would prefer to keep them together but it's really not a thing. Thanks for your polite suggestion.

If you are posting current content and using a classic or past clip to draw comparisons, that's fine. Just to post old clips for old clips' purposes, not so much. That can go to the classic thread.

Yes, some are that - but not all. I have already, today, posted an older without any current context to the other thread. I don't see a problem. I mean now, all clarified, etc.  IOw, seems to be fixed.

GH isn't very good with romance these days (and honestly that's been one of the show's weak spots for the past 25 years, since the Guza/JFP era). But those Liz/Lucky scenes today were powerfully romantic and poignant. I love how they're showing Liz, who spends most of her time now caring for others as a wife and a mother, getting to return to a time and place where she was led by her own desires. And the fact that they're showing us the flashback footage is just icing on the cake.

I think Liz would add Head Nurse to wife and mother!

I must admit that I haven't enjoyed Liz in many years but now I am!!! And, it's because of L&L2 Reboot. It is working. It is romantic. She even makes that mop of hair work, when she plays with his hair. I've said ad nauseum that you can tell they're invested in this pairing because they're spending a small fortune on digitizing these old flashbacks but I say it because it's true.

They were nice, but trying to build a story around flashbacks from previous regimes is not a story; to me, it's lazy and complete thievery. If you (Elizabeth Korte/Chris Van Etten) cannot build a story in 2025, then you shouldn't be in your position. Period.

I haven't watched much GH in the past year. But I learned that there were Lucky and Elizabeth scenes yesterday, so I made the effort to find a way to watch.
So awesome!  That's the JJ-Lucky I love.  He was so alive in those scenes.  My heart melted for both of them.

I have that in an edit I did in case it's something you want to keep, not long, about 5 minutes. They previously used to great effect another flashback of them, that young, slow dancing.

Sorry, I meant to write that she spends her time taking care of others as a nurse and mother, but you get my point. As a young woman, Liz used to be driven by her own ambitions and desires, but she gradually sublimated that and moved into a caretaking role, a supporting role. And so it's sort of thrilling to see her reconnect with her old "main character energy" again.
