Well, it does seem like B&B has hit one of its flows again. Like it or hate it...there are some stories going on rather than one.

 

Like Finn, I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that he is Luna's father. And those scenes of him being angry at Poppy weren't good, but darn it if TN don't try. And I do like the wrinkles it seems to have. Poppy is at last getting along with Li and that will get wrecked. Bill has Luna on house arrest and people are just now noticing she's not in the prison. And it's clear she might be a danger to Will at some point, too. And good coda with Finn and Steffy. Finn never seems to be one to keep secrets when it comes to Steffy so will he REALLY tell her?

 

Then there's Operation Carter. Yeeeah, it's been a bit slow. And yes, Daphne Rose is campy. But it IS something. I was very happy to see Brooke these last few episodes because it felt like she upped and vanished. However, it seems like she lost her backbone with Ridge which I so was like smh.

Today's episode was filled with one shot after another of a sad Carter staring into space and pondering the loss of his bestie Ridge. Boring af.

Also boring? Dumbass Hope AGAIN entering Steffy's office to push her buttons and tell her she has no choice but to get with the program.

Boring part 3? Dumbass Brooke bemoaning that Ridge isn't at Forrester "where he belongs." You know, the same Ridge who dumped her for the 24th time.

It is inexcusable for a 30-minute soap to spin its wheels like this. Making fun of Daphne Rose isn't enough to make up for it.

I agree with her for once, about Sinn and Cope and Tridge *shocked*

I’m completely lost lol.  I missed a couple days but why is everyone looking like Carter’s cat got killed?  Jewelry line is a success and everyone is staring in empathy and defeat at one another?????  Like - what happened?  Do they all know something Hope doesn’t?  They’re all staring at one another like - poor poor Hope.  She doesn’t know.  
 

What does Hope not know?  Carter sold out his rights?  I’m lost.  They look like the company is shutting doors. 

Oh my God never mind.  Where in the hell did this come from??? Suddenly Carter got a conscious and they’re gonna make Hope the bad guy?

We don't get to see fashion shows and jewelry drops any more. Instead we get people looking at iPads and screaming "Look at the numbers! We're a hit!"

The ending of today's show was as bad as the rest with Carter almost crying at his desk when Ridge walked in -- the Ridge who shouldn't be anywhere on the grounds. And did Carter break that Valentine's Day jewelry monstrosity into pieces? I couldn't tell what the hell I was watching.

I will add this. If we're going to criticize acting, then LSV needs to be included on the "He's Been Terrible" list.

They should have recast the role of Carter if they were going to give him beefier material.
