Body & Soul is over, but this show is still a mess.

-- The hospital going into bankruptcy is ridiculous -- even though it looks like it's already broke (no staff, no patients).

-- Sophia finding someone to adopt her baby and then that couple bailing already is ridiculous.

-- Leo's behavior with Doug3 is different than with every other hot young guy on the show. I can't stand his lecherous act with guys, but the way he treats Doug3 is completely out of character and ridiculous.

-- Johnny and Chanel just reconciled and already they're talking about having a baby? Ridiculous.

I do not have faith that these last couple months under RC will be anything but trash.

How did the Body & Soul crap finally come to its merciful end? I kind of want to watch it LOL but I’m also waiting for April before I do anymore Days watching.

Abe figured out that Nurse Whitley (the woman who kidnapped him and got him hooked on the soap in the first place) was the one who poisoned the cast.  She used soap twitter and the Salem universe's version of our own Jason47 to track the location of the actors.  Her motive was her dislike of the direction of the show, which was used as a device to ridicule fans who would dare to dislike RonC's creative vision.

Justin threatened to sue the production due to Bonnie's accident on set, so it was decided that Salem was an unsafe workplace and the show is moving back to Los Angeles.  Leo was fired as headwriter.  Hattie and Seth are relocating to LA.  Alex is staying in Salem to help Stephanie save the hospital from bankruptcy (using her incredible PR skills).   Joy is undecided about the move, but Bonnie is staying put until she heals.  While Johnny and Chanel have refocused on having a baby, after reconciling earlier in the day.

OMG that sounds HORRIBLE. Thank you though. 

I suppose Leo being fired is suppose to reflect RC in his feelings over being fired? LOL.

Yeah… I guess it’s good that the Aremid and Fake Rafe stuff is being tied together, that way they can end at the same time. It’s still needs to end though, hopefully with Fake Rafe and Rachel Sr. being killed off for good.

Btw, isn’t Rachel Sr. supposed to be like 100?

And yeah, I know we’re supposed to be on Jada’s side but I thought she was annoying today. There were so many better ways for them to possibly pair her and Shawn together 

Brady and Belle’s scenes were good. I liked the conversations that they had. But, at the same time, I thought they could’ve been better. That stupid joke music that played over some of their scenes was unnecessary and, in a way, diminished them. I still love their relationship though. I just think they need to write Belle as less of a dick.

And I liked the Kiriakis family scenes too, and the way that this storyline is continuing to be built up. I really hope it’s huge and explosive when the secret comes out. I’m very interested in seeing how the new writers would handle it.

I hate those kind of storylines lol even more than you hate guns.

This is the fourth time Ron’s done this type of storyline and it’s gotten crueler and nastier every time. I hope I’m wrong about this one though

One of the reasons why I think there might have been some interference in this storyline. Since when does Leo not sexually harass a hot straight guy? 😂

I also expected him to be blackmailing Doug III about the necklace, especially after he and Javi broke up.

Today's episode i only cared about Jada stuff I enjoyed her and fake Rafe confrontation scenes together especially when she slapped him for trying to get aggressive with her and then Jada figuring out about how Belle had been sleeping with EJ again after Shawn mentioned Belle and Ej sleeping together was also interesting and I'm interested in how fake Rafe will cover his tracks now since he is worried Jada could find out he isn't really Rafe 

Xander and Sarah were wasted in this episode they didn't even get Valentine Day Stuff

to be fair, she would've been younger than Stefano, because he admired her beauty, so she's probably a contemporary of Maggie (but, she's had a tough life).

I would think Rachel would be older than Maggie. Even Julie's age is a stretch.  She was introduced as someone who knew John as a young priest implying she was quite a bit older than both John and Marlena.  I don't think Stefano was necessarily younger than Rachel. That whole backstory is a moot point now because it was of course changed, but I would guess Rachel to be at least a decade older than John/Marlena putting her roughly at 80-85.  I consider Maggie more of a contemporary to John and Marlena.  Considering all the work she had done due to her scarring I suppose it's possible Rachel just looks young, but there's no way she's not in her 80's at this point.  Both Peter and Kristen should be nearing their 60's by now in real time.

Kristen should be old enough to be EJ's mother, but EJ was Sorased by a gigantic amount, as he was born the year after Will Horton.  So we can't really base anything on EJ's age.
But also, Kristen was younger than John Black when they were in their first storyline together when she was still a social worker and hadn't yet shown signs of sociopathy -- she was maybe 8 or 10 years younger than John.
I suppose Rachel Blake at 80-85 and Kristen "nearing 60s" works.

Casey Moss (JJ), on set with Matthew Ashford (Jack) & Melissa Reeves (Jennifer), in what appears to possibly be a cast photo shoot in preparation for the 60th anniversary this fall?! This would be their first cast shoot since 2020, and their first since transitioning from NBC to Peacock in 2022.

Yeah, I was taking Belle, Brady, and of course EJ's Sorasing out of the equation.  None of it will make sense.

I would agree Kristen was 8-10 years younger than John, but I believe Peter was her older brother.  With the very minimal knowledge we have about the Blakes, Rachel was married to their father and both children seemed planned.  There's no indication Rachel was a teen mother or anything.   I also took into to consideration that Stefano doesn't generally go after much younger women in the way someone like Victor did.  

So basically considering Eileen is 65, Jason Brooks is 58, and Stacy is 56 nearing 60 seemed fair.  If Rachel had the kids between 20-28 ish 80 seems like a pretty generous estimation of her age.  And that is my hypothetical math on trying to play the wacky "how old is everyone in Salem" game. 😂

yes DAYS filmed Halloween a few weeks ago, and DAYS is filming November 2025 now, so those *might be* spoilers as to cast and wardrobe.
Edit, but you have a point, it *might be* preparation for a big cast photoshoot.
