We know from the ratings data that ABC big three huge rise and dominance was 1978-1982.

Susan Lucci became the diva of all divas of daytime and was and still is known in popular culture. Even those who didn't watch All My Children or watch daytime at all know who she is. It's quite telling that she is the only daytime Emmy winner whose win got a People cover story.

Soap Bubble appeared to have centered more on the shows than puff pieces about the actors.

Is it just me or did Soap Bubble not identify who was on the cover? I'm sure they did somewhere inside, but it's kinda frustrating to not see it on the actual cover lol

Afternoon TV's covers were so intimate, they look like photos of real-life couples (maybe not Joel and Barb). I will say that Millette Alexander looks very different.
