Well, Emma sure has changed since the last time we saw her… and I’m here for it!

I enjoyed the scenes between Emma and Anna. The actress seemed to have good chemistry with FH as well. And hopefully Emma continues to have this animosity towards Joss too.

I’m still not sure about Kai and Trina though. I don’t dislike the storyline, the potential pairing or the actor but he just comes off like such a mush sometimes. I mean, that could be on the writing but I just don’t know.

As for Valentin and Charlotte… Skip.

Emma is quite delicious, a brat from the start. Anna has got her number. I can't imagine Robin's reaction to her expulsion. Imagine being expelled over a party you threw.

Charlotte, again with the papas! I could do without that. And, what was that Lulu planted in her purse, was it a tracker?

Really enjoyed Emma today. New actress has nice spunk and her shadiness with Josslyn was so so good.

Will always love the Ava and Trina relationship and it’s one thing I’m glad the new writers fixed. I like multi generational relationships on soaps that you wouldn’t expect.

Trina and Kai getting along is so much better than the crap they got when they first started.

Well, I'm glad that I took the time to actually pay attention by rewatching. How could I not focus on CAMERON BEING BACK!!! lol. Stupid work week. LMAO. But I was so happy to see him, see that he's HAPPY, AND with a new girlfriend who is treating him nicer than Joss. And of course, I'm happy to have Liz's kids on canvas. I was bummed that Jake is still abroad. And VERY annoyed that it seems Tobias and Aidan might actual be together, but they are off screen? REALLY? RME.

I really wanted to hate on that meet-cute with Jordan and Isaiah, but I LOVE Isaiah and Jordan so I just sat there and watch him swoon all over Jordan. And I was giving serious Auntie side-eye at Willow. Cuz THAT'S JORDAN'S MAN, TRICK. Yeah, it's a whole C plot at the moment, but I don't mind them at all slowly getting to know each other.

Meanwhile...ugh...could Drew be any more of a stalker? Cuz how he be looking at Willow has started to get extremely creepy. Meanwhile, I'm still shocked that Nina has not told Willow about her and Drew. But when you are an afterthought in a storyline that started with you...

I was not a regular viewer with most of the Oscar storyline so I missed his death. That said, I find EM doing a really good job. I feel her loss.

You know what? Curtis being sure he's iron-clad in as Head of Aurora. Michael with the payback. Carly itching to Carly and me being on HER side. This whole storyline sure could be aiming for that murder mystery we keep talking about here.

I continue to be amused at how Frank Valentini manages to give us new sets. That new part of the Q mansion and now Nina has a whole living room?

Today they had a freaking nail salon set and an out of country set just because they could. I’m watching GH at this point because it’s the only soap that’s taking place in actual town with multiple homes and businesses of all sorts. It’s so hard to watch Y&R these days in comparison.

Also the slow build for Jordan and Isaiah is working for me because that man sells being over the moon for Jordan like she’s the only woman he’s ever seen and it just WORKS. I wonder if she was in like his audition or the show just saw it and knew where to go.

And you would know good sir!

Jason...AND SASHA?? Uhhhhhh. I...didn't hate it, but WHY when Elizabeth IS RIGHT THERE??? And given the talk earlier here on Brennan and Joss...I didn't see as bad of an age difference. How old is Britt in comparison with Sasha? Though I don't think Jason/Sasha will be as hot as Jason/Britt were. I was...befuddled. But hey...at least it isn't Anna, either. And Jason desperately needs a storyline all his own.

HELLLLLLLLLLLL-HO, SHIRTLESS ISAIAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or...YES, PLEASE. Were the sauna scenes silly? Yes. But I felt it was not played too serious nor too campy. So...silly soap opera situation? In any case, that was funny in a good way.

I enjoyed Tracy vs Martin. A good read-off. And then that scene with Tracy and Jason. Just the buildup to her saying he's more of a true Quartermaine than Drew would ever be. The earned respect. Well done.

I also wish the Michael/Curtis scheming had gone on a little bit longer. There were some stumbles, but Curtis vs Drew had Curtis lit up confronting Drew. And it was kinda sad, remembering that Drew started Aurora with Sam. He lost her. And now he's lost that. Given his military background, could Drew fall off the deep end before anything else happens. A Drew on the verge of a breakdown...which might be coming since he is probably about to lose Nina AND Willow...will probably be a more dangerous Drew.

Clearly, someone was in the mood to show off the men's bod. I have NO complaints.

So not here for all these hints that BLQ and Gio might be related related.

Good coda.

    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!

    • So, I have been in the hospital all week. I am close to being up to date on my soaps. Now I have to go to the Infusion Ctr daily to get IV antibiotics, for 6 weeks. I am frankly exhausted. A hospital is no place to be when you're sick. Hooked up to machines that go beep beep beep all day & night long. Someone wakes you up every hour on the hour for something, either to stick you with needles or to take your gosh-awful blood pressure for the umpteenth time. So, you don't get any sleep. Now I have a central line, upper right chest. After they "installed" it, I said, I am now Borg. They just stared at me. Apparently scifi is not general knowledge. What happened? I have an infection inside my big toe right foot & it burned the skin on my foot. The burned skin is already better. It was like a bad sunburn. The infection inside the toe is the issue. Oral antibiotics won't even get its attention. So, IV antibiotics plus time.

As Salem bids farewell to John Black on Monday, the "Days" family and fans say a final goodbye to Drake Hogestyn.   From his time as a young man playing baseball in the minor leagues for the New York Yankees to his almost four-decade run as John Black, Drake always did his best. And, while becoming a soap opera icon, he spent almost 40 years at "Days" telling the best stories and taking the younger cast under his wing to make sure they would do their best as well. Thank you, Drake, for the legacy you have left for everyone at "Days." The impact you made on the cast, crew and fans will never be forgotten...and that's a fact.
    • I found an interview with Joseph Breen (Will Jeffries) where he mentions that Reva was put in a coma so Zimmer could go to Hollywood to do a pilot (OMG, if ONLY it had been picked up, LOL) and that Sonni and Josh and Will became a popular with the audience while she was out of commission.  If you want to read the whole thing: https://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewarticle.asp?id=47394 Breen was known for being very candid in interviews, I wish I could find more of them. I seem to recall he made a couple of snarky comments about Zimmer, implying she was not above acting like a diva. Sounded to me like he had a lot of respect for Forbes (who went on to have a very strong and varied career after GL).
    • I was so confused why Devon was prying into Nicks love life and then it clicked and I remembered they’re brother-in-laws. Shows how little I pay attention to this show anymore. I was like uh? Do these two even know each other this well?
    • The Bell soaps, B&B and Y&R: cannot watch. If I went by the last time I did I would have to give them both D- but I really don't think it counts when you're not a daily watcher.  DAYS: B+ (Now this is with the knowledge that for years I have given this show a D- because I've been a fan for too long to give it the F it deserved.) GH: A+ (With Korte driving this bus to me the show is so much better! IMO we just had the best NB in so many years I cannot count!) BTG: A solid (Things I love, a few I do not, nothing I hate, still find it in general remarkable.) As always, thanks for doing this thread. I count it. I always look for it & I always post.
    • Okay, I continue to maintain that what is so good about this particular reveal followed by umbrella storyline is that you can see & understand many different points of view where there is not one bad guy or one 100% right person.  About your stated opinion, that Lois & Gloria did the right thing, you know that this was technically an illegal adoption? For it to have been legal the father, if known, would have to have been informed & have signed off on terminating his own paternal rights. And, of course, it is clear how many people they lied to.  Personally I feel like Lois is going to take the biggest "public" blame with Lulu a close second in the blame category. I am looking forward to a tongue lashing I hope Brook Lynn gives to Gloria. I continue to be more than annoyed with Dante. First his attitude toward Gio with regards to Rocco & a drinking game & its results. Second his attitude toward Lulu. Meanwhile enjoying the show every day!
    • Lois and Gloria did the right thing I feel knowing it was Camila that raised Gio has BL feeling some jealousy No one is saying that Camila was a bad mother to Gio I believe it will be Gio saying that Camila was great to him, thanking Lois and Gloria to get BL to see truth
