It's their annual season renewal tradition, when they start a new season the previous one is deleted on the same day, same was done in the past few years, but you can find the previous season and some older ones on Amazon

Every year, for Y&R, CBS pulls the prior season episodes as soon as the new season debuts,
so everything through Oct 2 has now been deleted.
Hopefully they'll start uploading new season episodes today?

The B&B fall 2024 season premiere was Sept 16.

They only seem to do it for The Young and the Restless, which sucks for anyone who didn't watch October 2 hahahah.

SO, they Really Killed Heather, DAMN! All that suspense kept me hoping she would turn up alive!

Sharon is now a Crazy Killer, Kyle went from Man-Child to Corporate Spy, Diane is Becoming her mean self again and Audra was Fired On The Spot! I know she won't keep quiet, Glacade is her baby!

I don't see why Victoria was shocked that Victor already knew she tried to save Billy by buying him out. You have to get up reeeallly early in the morning or be Heather Tom to get one over on Victor Newman. Just saying...lol. Let Billy burn. Because right now he's still being all kinds of annoying. His whining to Jack when Jack is trying to get him to see common sense made me roll my eyes.

And so the Amy Lewis mystery begins. And Nate is connected to it. Since he clearly does not know who she is...I wonder what it is about then.

Sharon kept Heather's phone??? GUUUUUUUUURLLL!!!! That said...I'm ready for Sharon to have a change of clothes. And I did like she took the meds in front of Nick and Mariah giving fuel to my theory.

I've enjoyed Audra vs Kyle. Though I'm Team Audra. But that could be because throughout the last few episodes, the writers are making sure we see Audra's POV, and she's not wrong. Meanwhile, someone looked a little TOO happy in his pants during that intense rivalry scene. hehe.

MG continually amazes. Bringing Daniel back was a great move.

And I absolutely loved 'Cameron's' commentary about Phick - like falling into bed at the slight hint of crisis! It's kind of funny how so many of 'Cameron's' observations during this story are exactly what the audience is thinking.

So True! I hope he gets nominated for the emmys next year! I was crying with Lucy and Him, I pretty bummed they killed Heather!

Cameron's in fact The B in Sharon! Lol remember when She was crazy in the early 2010's and totally unapologetic?

I thought the scenes between Britt and Jason were well done, so I'll give KT props for that at least. I agree it felt like she was asking too much of him. It's unrealistic to think Jason, of all people, would be 100% committed to anyone at this point and he actually shouldn't have to be when he's just offering help? Britt also has family that would be happy to help her, so it's not as if she's all alone in the world.
The whole Dalton murder and Britt/Sidwell connection is fine I suppose, but it feels like the show just scrapped Emma's only story. All the months she spent trying to get in good with Dalton yet she never cracked the case and now he's dead.

That's great that you've found something to enjoy. I remember my first telenovela as a child - Rosalinda. I was obsessed. I was sooo little, practically a baby, but remember re-enacting scenes from the show, fake falling down the stairs like Rosalinda and fake-getting run by car like she was. I would recreate these hyper dramatic moments all day long. My father cringing every time he sees me. 😄

Cherie Jimenez as Gabi on Days. I am not sure if Camila Banus was ever super popular, but she led storyline and was on the show for years.
Not to veer off topic, but I am also quite fascinated by the Carly situation on GH. I know TB wasn't immediately accepted, while Laura was due to the Bransford situation, but it has to be rare to have such longevity and success with three separate actors in the role. Are there other roles/actors that have achieved that?

Thank you for reminding me! I think I know which ones you are referring to. It's just so hard to follow what is up and what gets taken down from YouTube. I think they've been cleaning a lot of channels due to this new streaming thing.
BTW, I was just watching again and I guess Susan Lucci was on hiatus, because Erica is nowhere to be seen. They left us on a cliffhanger and now I watch every episode expecting to see what happened with her and the clown. Manipulative writing.

Kimberley is another, definitely, especially as she got to stand on her own with the Musketeers phasing out.
Those are the responses I was most interested in seeing, but I didn't want to make a lot of rules because I am enjoying seeing the different suggestions, even for people who were replacing lesser-known performers.

I'm interpreting this thread as focussing more on recasts that had to replace popular performers, and thus had to prove themselves rather than just taking the place of actors who hadn't made much of an impression or proven to very popular with viewers.
eg Michael O'Leary as Rick on GL replaced Phil McGregor but Phil hadn't made much of an impression in the role and that was why he was replaced in the first place.
