It uploaded a little late this morning but I was able to watch on my phone.

Too bad that today was a little… meh though

But for the first time, I was actually interested in the Connie storyline. Let’s just say that the person that she wants to kill now wouldn’t be that much of a loss for Salem

And Johnny shrinking EJ was pretty good too. I like that he was the voice of reason when it came to this whole EJ/Gabi/Stefan thing. I still think that they’re missing a big opportunity with Johnny. Instead of him being so blindly loyal to EJ and the Dimeras, they should have him be torn between them and the Brady’s.

Didn’t really care for the rest though. Paulina ordering Rafe out of his coma was stupid.

God, I am so sorry that you had to watch on your phone. I've done that. It's not what you'd call a pleasant experience.

Even watching on my kindle is better than on my phone. On my phone is the absolute worst.

Yeah, today was mostly B stories, but I am here for Connie's next victim lol.

I like Jada/Paulina scenes.  And yay? Rafe woke up.

I find it funny Ava is just walking around town these last few days running into different people lol.

I get what you are saying about Johnny.  He's so Dimera centric and rarely acknowledges his Brady side unless he's talking to Marlena.  It doesn't seem like Sami's child would ever be raised so strongly into the Dimera fold especially with EJ being in a coma for years.

I find it odd that Ava is the key to so many secrets and mysteries, but she feels no compulsion to tell anyone.  For example, she knows Melinda went to fire Connie, but she met with Roman, Stefan, and Brady before she decided to mention it to anyone.  She also knows Brady didn't run over Sarah, but she didn't tell Jada.

I know she was raised in the mafia, but she's got to learn it is OK to snitch sometimes…

The Melinda stuff is weird.  Ava was with Kristen when Melinda "text" to take a leave of absence, so it's not like she didn't get some follow up on the situation.  It's strange Ava didn't check in, but not entirely out of the realm of possibility.

I don't think she knows Brady didn't hit Sarah just that he didn't drive the night of the first wedding (Theresa/Alex) and went home with Fiona.  I think she was just planting a seed in Brady's head that he was adamant about not driving on that specific night.  And perhaps he didn't the night Sarah was hit.

Hope Internet improves!

Johnny needs acting lessons. Well, Carson does! His hollering at EJ had zero vocal variation! His control wasn't even good.

That pink sheath dress on Gabi was awful - both color & style.

Look! Real soap criticisms!

Ava, totally weird.

I officially miss Camila. There I've said it.

So tired of Connie.

Stefan, maybe go kick rocks?

Not much happened today, but I’m glad that Steve is being so smart about NotAbigail. It’s always good to see him, and John too, on the case. I hope we figure out more about this storyline and how it came to be. Billy Flynn’s comments in the Michael Fairman interview made me curious lol I have an idea but I have no proof.

And I guess it’s good that Rafe’s out of his coma. But the problem is where do he and Jada go from here after all this stuff ends? I don’t see what storyline they could do with them. They had a chance to do something as a result of Bobby-Everett dying but Days didn’t take it.

And, can somebody please end this Connie crap? She’s just as bad as Clyde and Konstantin.

Konstantin, dayum, what a high bar you set. No, it's true Connie's not as bad as he was BUT that's because he was so AWFUL.

Oh, good, it's not just me.

F'Abby is not doing herself any favors. How many people have now seen her talking on that phone they have to wonder who the hell is she talking to?!!

    • Thank you for the constructive suggestion.
    • But how is it "apparent" that she signed a new 3-year contract? Your wording had a voice of authority -- as if you knew it was true. A better way to post about it? Say you read online that she signed a new contract, but have no idea if that's true.
    • This interview actually reminds me a bit of Kim Zimmer’s press during the infamous clone storyline on Guiding Light, or Deidre Hall during the possession story on Days. All three were seasoned daytime veterans who made it clear they valued airtime for their characters, not just being part of a romantic pairing. It seems that idea was part of the pitch behind these bigger-than-life plots. They all took big swings in their performances. When I read Kim Zimmer’s memoir, I thought she captured it best — she wanted to be respected for being willing to take those risks. To paraphrase her, she knew it was ridiculous for Reva to think she was pregnant after menopause, but she still threw herself into those scenes and made them real. That’s what really struck me about Victoria Wyndham’s interview too. She responded like a real person. It felt like she was telling Michael Logan that she knew Justine — and a geriatric pregnancy with twins — was totally preposterous, but that she still deserved credit for trying to keep the show alive and entertain the audience. And honestly, I think that's more than fair. Logan is looking for a reductive answer for who is to blame.  And, she's telling him to accept that they were all well-meaning.  Which is not a defense of bad storytelling.  But, I understand that she's frustrated because she interpreted Logan's critique as a lack of commitment, and she wants him to know that she was committed! (maybe not for the best, but committed).
    • Fine, you only had to say so. It's not a problem to me NOT to post this. I have no idea what this means.
    • Oh, really? I think we're really getting close.  What does "apparently" mean to you? To me, it means that this is something I think has happened but not something I absolutely positively know to have happened. When I use a word like "apparently" as I have here, I am doing so by intent. Can you think of a better way to communicate that?
    • Wow...I was not expecting a montage.   I know SilkPress did not!!! Poor Eva.  Lol. Funnily enough I missed that.
    • For the record, VW thought having the twins at their ages was absurd & who wanted that story, was some group of fans, who wanted her & Carl to have a chance at having children together. Not any fans that I knew of, but supposedly they existed.
    • Brandon Tartikoff saved NBC primetime. Brandon Stoddard got ABC Tuesday to rebound and put an end to the Aaron Spelling hit factory.
    • Awwwww Brad. I know I shouldn't, but I feel bad for him

And yeah, agreed that Dante having animosity towards Gio is very forced and contrived. And it also has me concerned that it means the reveal won't be happening anytime soon.
    • God, I love that woman. Another amazing interview!!
