I would say Guza pulling Dillon away from Georgie was a bit of misogynistic hatred for the fact that LL didn't look like a typical teen/young adult heroine.   And then Guza just decided to kill her off even though Georgie/Dillon could have been the next young supercouple.

I think the show does need Dillon.  I have no hopes of SC coming back, but the show could find someone better than Watkins.  Dillon's quirky and dorky.  Not Michael 2.0

This is why when I see people on Twitter going on about how much they miss Guza because something was always happening and the stories all made sense and were character-driven, I am bewildered. So much was just gross trash that scars the show to this day. I get why people miss him but the rewriting annoys me.

Well, he was very clear in remaining true to his own opinions about his own importance. He said right out loud that Diane is the best that there is AND that she will continue to represent HIM & Marty, who therefore could not possibly be anything but SECOND BEST, well, sure, he'll pay for Marty to take care of that baby mama. Gee, how unselfish of him? NOT.

I thought JMB did well with family and most of her non romantic costars.  I didn't think she and 
BB had much chemistry, but the pairing was so hyped it probably turned me off.  I really can't quite remember how I felt about her and Duhon.  I think I was indifferent.

I will openly admit to missing Guza a lot, but there was a lot of misogyny and repetitive stories.  How many times did we have to see a different version of Clink Boom?  He did know how to make the show sweeps exciting at least.

Are they not even going to give Jagger a funeral? Not one character has expressed any sort of emotion over his cold-blooded murder. I guess the one character who'd at least show some anger would be Scott, but he's disappeared.

It would be nice to have Jagger still alive, with Scott using all his money to help Jagger heal, so that Jagger can return one day and take Sonny down for attempted murder. But I'm guessing that's probably not the direction these writers will be going in..

I want to say he hit the road (and wanted Lulu to come with him) during the prison break that ended with Sonny getting that governor pardon.
