So Billy won't give that second-in-command job to Chance who has no experience mind you, but he's willing to give it to Phyllis who has very little experience herself? Outside of running a hotel, she's IT heavy. Smh. Oh, well, it gives her something to do I guess.

I admit that this episode went by fast. But that's because anything Adam/Chelesa/Connor or adjacent to them is officially back to getting the FF button from me. And I'm not against Billy with The Giggly Heffa only because I know Victor is going to stick it to him HARD. And I WANT to watch Victor humble his smug a$$.

The only thing that interested me in this episode was seeing JG *cough*FINALLY*cough* start the Abby/Devon wedding build-up. And it was nice to see the comedy with them and Giggly Heffa. Cuz...Giggly Heffa.

Fingers crossed that the story turn is coming in the Sharon storyline. Especially after the Sharon/Daniel scenes and the end coda. So...Sharon's about to go cray cray and try to off Daniel?

Another week of 'throwing things at the wall to see if anything sticks.' Disappointing because it actually had potential to it with Sharon's storyline starting to head toward its turn/climax. So of course, JG immediately sidelined it at the start of the week.

Thankfully...happy accident...the focus shifted to Victor and Lily for a day...and Victor doing what I wanted him to do and wiping the smug look off Billy's face by taking his client. I also enjoyed all of Lily's scheming, seeing her businesswoman in action. And her reading Giggly Heffa once she found out that Billy gave Phyllis HER job was hilarious to watch. She was READING.

Oh, look Adam/Chelesa. FF. lol. But I see JG is going to try for this Adam/Chelesa/Billy triangle though so ugh.

And then the Sharon storyline did return. But it's clear...JG is stalling. And it would be one thing if it felt like an organic stall. But...the stalling felt forced. Go ahead and let Sharon go try to kill Daniel. This hiding out when her family already know what's up just is not interesting regardless of SC starting to sell it and interesting camera angles from Cameron. Though it was nice to see Nick be Victor-like in terms of wearing normal clothes that looked like his own clothes.

In watching yesterday's stand-alone episode, I must say: Sharon Case (Sharon Newman) has done quite well with the subpar material she's been given for the past few years under the [unfortunate] pen and production of Josh Griffith.

Could this be what earns Case her first Daytime Emmy? Possibly, but I also believe voters aren't going to give it to her easily, especially against the other leading actresses in the genre. I do wish the spitfire spirit Sharon Newman is given off of her meds would translate into when Sharon Newman IS medicated, because it's refreshing.

OMG Adam...THANK YOU for punching Billy. Watching Billy fly through the air gave me such a good feeling. And then he had to go and nurse his ego (with Giggly Heffa). Hehe. Well-deserved since it's NONE of his business.

I was very happy to see the Audra/Sally friendship pop up. That has been exactly what Sally has been needing. Meanwhile...I guess it's official...Tucker IS gone. Audra mentioned she has not heard a thing since Paris. Unless the point of Sally mentioning him is that he will pop up soon enough. But that felt...final. Finally. lol.

The week appears to be off to a strong start. So...here we go...

Well, it appears that the player is going to be acting up again (thank you, CBS *eyeroll*) so I've had no choice, but to go ahead and binge most of this week since they are going to delete out of order apparently. And all I have to say for this week is two things...

1) The climax to Ashley's storyline was much, much better.

2) Ummmm...

I'll say this much...it is really looking like Cameron is not only in Sharon's head to me. Just how he's wording things. The fact that more and more he really has not been in the same scenes as Sharon and other characters talking to him. And now this insistence on him letting Sharon do everything. And did I mention he TOUCHED her. So I take it JG decided to rewrite the story in some way.

Don't get me wrong. The start of it was looking like Sharon was off her meds. I guess she did correct it in the end. And that would explain why Mariah saw the meds and they looked fine. So I'll say Cameron's alive and drugging Sharon for revenge.

Or she really is crazy...which would really anger me. These writers stay doing her wrong...her and GH's Liz. smh.

And don't tell me Heather is dead dead??? I always wanted Vail Bloom to come back and was happy to get my wish. I was also happy to see her in a story that felt like it was taken from @DramatistDreamer's idea here on how to write her return. Which I was disappointed that after a great start and setup, it fell apart, at least I saw her. And I was curious to see where she and Daniel went from here as they were working on finding jobs while dealing with a more obsessive Lucy, but alas.

I guess I could say the acting and music for today was on point. SC stepped up her game again. And VB was right there along with her. I loved Heather's little sarcastic comment during Sharon's rant. And those were at least some great scenes seeing Heather vs Sharon. It took me 15 minutes to realize it was just the two of them in the episode so well done.

But again...ummmm...?

    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!
