God, if Finn and Hope marry, does this mean Brooke will have to sleep with him too... Since he will be her daughter's husband. Her specialty. 😂

I think the Emmy nomination was the icing on the cake. It probably fu-cked with Brad's ego. In symbolic way it was a statement that Krista knew what she was doing... and he couldn't tolerate that. And probably couldn't bare to HAVE to write something smarter or deal with an actress that had THAT strong opinions. And someone that dared to laugh about the way he was writing. 

God, how I cringe when I think of this man.

I mean look at his stable of writers. He has had/have some of the legends of daytime tv who can write the hell out of even the worst story on his payroll. And he barely if at all seems to let them be creative beyond what he typical writes.

 

There's a reason why there has always been a running joke about how all the best daytime writers go to B&B once they leave their respective shows. Nice pay. Little work.

That's as far as I feel comfortable repeating this, since it's just speculations. I can only say that there were not jealous actresses and things like that. It was Bradley Bell's issue from the beginning. Till the End.

Bradley likes people who adore him and like his way of thinking. He writes incredibly cheap stuff and feels inferior when someone questions them... that's why I believe in my deepest of hearts, he started to dislike Krista. I may be wrong. I don't know.

That's my take... but it's just an analysis of what I've seen and heard, and not a true statement of truth.

I think your take is the right one. It has to have been conflict with Brad and her Emmy nomination proving she was right. 
 

The weird thing is something had to have changed with him years ago. He worked very well with Susan Flannery for decades and she was no slouch when it came to quality performances. 
 

KKL has so many online detractors it seems like that was an easy scapegoat. I’ve just never seen any behaviour from her, ever, to substantiate those kinds of rumours.

These rumors are disgustingly spread by Brooke haters non-stop. From the minute Krista was out. Like literally the minute she was out they started blaming KKL. Nothing of it is true. KKL has never had an issue with Krista. They actually had amazing chemistry and brought out the best from one-another. Bradley killed that too. 

I loved Krista Allen as Taylor, but I'll be honest. If it's true that she pushed back on the writing for Taylor and that Brad Bell disliked that, she played it all wrong.

She wasn't a long-time legend on the show who had the capital for that.

I know she was only on Guiding Light for a couple of years but I see "Michelle".  Not Taylor.  And I think fans of other shows (Greenlea?  Greenlee?) - will probably see her (RB) as that.  Because Taylor she is not.  

The purpose is pure Bradley Bell: he gets bored, wants to bring someone shiny and new in, and then ditch them. It's his M.O. No one outside of the gruesome four will ever be touched, and anyone outside of them are collateral.

And it's Greenlee. And I never saw Greenlee when she was on General Hospital but, regardless, she does not fit the role of Taylor age-wise, but talent-wise she could.

I don't know... I think she just wears a lot of extensions, etc. and it causes a lot of damage for her. And I also think it's because she parts her hair opposite her natural part, which creates some shadowed volume.

One thing I know, for 100 percent certainty, from people behind the scenes - is that KKL has never been a reason for Krista's dismissal. Never.  

She did state she would maybe one-day write a book about her life, and what's gone on behind-the-scenes of her soap work.
