I haven't seen the scenes ⏤ I am still months behind ⏤ but saw them in this pose via CBS' official website, and it's in poor taste. I don't know whether it's Eric Braeden's demeanor or the pose (in bare-shoulder) from Amelia Heinle, or even both.

I don't see it happening. Hunter King is in a multi-picture deal with Hallmark, and it seems to be very successful for her. So I don't see her backing out to return to daytime at this time. Plus, Allison Lanier is probably this soap's smartest hire/recast in a long-ass time, and has done a fine job with the shït material she's been handed. I don't see them firing her to re-hire someone who has quit multiple times (a-la Michelle Stafford).

I know I'm in a slim minority but, I really liked Elizabeth Leiner as Tara Locke, and would not mind her return.

I'm with you on Elizabeth Leiner. I know most people hated her in the role -- and so did I for a time. But then I realized that what she was doing as an actor worked for me. I think she was memorable.

The OCD story isn't good even from a "Let's educate the audience" viewpoint. If you're OCD or have an OCD child at home, what are you supposed to do with this storyline?

Connor was sent away, so almost everything was offscreen except for a few horrendous CGI scenes. He got better, then relapsed, followed by some miraculous "He's better!" a week later. Now he's being sent back home. Jesus.

Adam and Chelsea staring at an iPad is as bad as Billy doing a podcast. Josh Griffith should be fired for this story alone.

When we know all Chelsea's been through, her inability to shut up about having sex with Adam is absurd. She's acting nuts.

And yeah, those Crimson Lights scenes are excruciatingly long and drawn out. Just horrendous television.

My mom suffered from OCD and So did I For a while, I was honestly offended by that storyline it has zero accuracy/credibility! JG shouldn't be allowed to deal with this kind of sensible material!

I didn't see much of her but didn't hate her but she felt lukewarm to me, hence my idea of then recasting with a stronger actress

It made sense when it was about Cassie but pulling Nick into It Was Weird! I wonder if it I'd all some kind of epic standalone episode focused on Sharon for her 30th Anniversary??? Maybe some kind of Therapy Session?

I missed the latest Kyle v Summer showdown due to a tv prob. But I actually liked this episode. And Summer pulling a fast one on Kyle. And her smirk at the end while she was hugging Harrison at Kyle was delicious. Take that, prick!

I liked Devon and Lily reaching a detente. I didn't want a repeat of the last time they were at odds...which was most of THIS storyline. So I was happy she was happy for him and Abby getting married. Which I hope leads to some drama or event. Genoa City is overdue.

Billy RME. To think this whole storyline was about him changing the name. And the writers are so trolling us with the Lily comment about A-C. I personally feel Chancellor-Abbot would be better.

Ugh. A complete chord.

Is it wrong that I want the Adam/Chelesa fling out in the open so it can wipe the smug look off Billy's face? Because that is exactly how I feel about him at the moment. Moving around like a bull in a China shop in order to feel sooooo important. BOY...BYE. In fact, in that whole quad, I feel right now the only person I care about is Sally.

So we don't even get to see the party that Faith went to? *side-eye* I did wonder if Daniel/Lucy's talk about his past with Cassie was foreshadowing. Because Cassie had such a crush on Daniel. Almost obsessive. And look at what is going on with Lucy with Faith.

And this episode was the first time I cared about the Sharon storyline. I liked Sharon doubting herself. I liked to see Faith and Nick compare notes. And then Sharon/Daniel talk.

Nothing, but the truth. Billy has been unbearable.

Was that Ashley's last appearance? I can't remember if we saw ED on the other end of that video? Otherwise, I would say that Ashley has not appeared since she checked into her clinic in Paris, talking to Tucker one last time and apologizing to Audra on her way out. TSJ even lit up in that last scene...only to be bored in his Audra scenes.

As for the Abbotts...just Victor weaving a web as it is clear that he was Audra's silent partner to get Tucker's company so he can weaponize it against Jabot as payback on Jack for helping Nikki. That he manipulated the rift between Diane and Kyle and has Kyle as a co-head with Audra to stick it to Jack has been a bonus. Interesting...it was, but it appears to be more B plot as that plot is now focusing on the return of Kyle circa 2017...the schemer that was a prick. Lashing out at Jack and Diane and having some explosive showdowns with Summer.

And the A plot for the show right now is...Billy/Lily/Chelesa/Adam, What's up with Sharon, a lil Faith/Lucy...and not much else to be honest. Quite boring the last two weeks or so.

    • Coming into June...   It just occurred to me that seeing Carter/Hope engaged that there was something missing. Oh, yeah! DAPHNE. I missed a few episodes, but she left, right? So is Ridge going to be the spoiler for Carter/Hope now? I felt that Daphne/Carter/Hope had more legs to it. But I guess we will see.   I did enjoy that show circling back around to Luna/Will/Electra. Katie was spitting nothing, but truth. Same for Sheila. And it's good to see Luna vs Electra, and they gave off more adversary chemistry this time around versus when they were at Deacon's.    I was happy to see Liam reduced to C plot.
    • To bring over from the May Sweeps Thread from @Chris B   I know the fashions have gotten mixed reviews but I actually like what the new costume designer is putting the cast in. It feels more modern and the more tacky pieces I feel make sense for rich people. They're buying for the brand and the price and we often see celebs in things like this. Especially for a character like Nikki, I feel the more over the top (and tacky), the more realistic it is.   I agree. While it has been hit and miss no question, I have found it fascinating to watch what the costume designer is attempting to do with the various characters and their clothes. Some have been overdue. Some have been fascinating. But (outside of Billy) not boring to watch. I definitely find it more modern as well.   My growing issue has been it's not good that the best reason to watch Y&R as of late has been to see what people are wearing rather than the writing. It feels like a red flag.
    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
