They are trying to tell me Tracy was on 7 times in June from the SON numbers on SD...I am like don't mess with episode counts! Or I will whip out Ms. Qs power point presentation! LOL!

It's Canada's Birthday!!!

On this day in 1867, Canada became newly federated and we retain the distinction of being one of the only nations to gain their independence by saying "Please". (Since Miss Houston had never heard of the day I thought I'd let you all know.)

Now I'm off to take the Diva to sailing camp and find out what happened to Mrs. Spencer. This disappearance of hers in disturbing.

Bumping the thread. I think I am having the Tracy summertime blues...

I feel like I am beat down at Soapdish and it doesn't even pay to ask...there is no info!

My mouth is much better today...not in pain...slept like a rock, once I finally went to sleep. My husband gave me an article about sleep today to read about training yourself for better sleep habitls. Maybe I should read it!!!

Just wrote some snail mail grousing about the use, or lack of use of Jane Elliot. I said the only thing I was holding out hope for was the fact that TG was taking all his vacation at once with the promise of a bigger, better storyline upon his return. I can only hope that JE would be an integral element to whatever story is told. If not I was checking out of GH for good. Yadda, yadda, the usual threats. I'm going to go mail it now.

I was on YouTube (left a long comment on one of your clips, halee) and I came across the beginning of Luke and Skye. I had seen it before, though I guess I forgot the part where he got kind of violent with her in the beginning when he put his hand around her neck. :o It all started October 14th, 2003. That was sooner than I thought. You all might be wondering why I am bringing Skye and Luke's relationship into this thread - haha - so I will explain.

I read this comment from the clip, and it sort of pissed me off:

Jane Elliot, who thought "I'll believe it when I see it" when Jill Faren Phelps told her about her and TG sharing scenes together, stole Robin's acting partner? Right.

BTW, the blog is continuing with the story from a different perspective. Remember it's a group effort and needs everyone's attention!

Ahh I believe Tony specially requested Jane and crafted the idea for the whole story (in the beginning). No offense to RC, I like her a lot, but TG asked to get out of that acting partnership.

      Yes, they did a 'premiere' of Maggie's death episodes at the ArcLight theatre in Los Angeles, arguably then the nicest movie theatre chain in the USA. Plus, Suzanne and Deidre were in a ton of scenes together during this time. Whatever happened between them happened after 2004.

      There are episodes with Jenny (Mary Ellen Stuart) that she was in pre-writers strike.. and I know that she lasts until at least August 1988. It's a shame that the show didn't try pairing her with Rusty since the two had more chemistry than she had with Ross and that he had with Rose.

      Oohh...now I'm not sure. Long did come back in '87, didn't she. She broke up Ross and Vanessa almost from her first minute back. Van and Ross are at the Country Club when Josh dumps Reva. And Reva dramatically drapes herself on the CC stairs.

      Upon reflection, I think you're right, their chilliness toward each other was more recent. She said women on the show in 1984 were not supportive and she still stays away from them. She seems friendly with Susan Hayes so Deidre is the only woman still around from those days, though I guess Kristian Alfonso and Leann Hunley could also qualify. And it might be someone long gone but who is still present in Suzanne's social circles.

      I don't know.  The animosity seems to be more recent than the mid 80s.  When Maggie was a victim of the Salem Stalker i remember reading an interview with Suzanne where she said they aired the episode(s) surrounding Maggie death in a theatre and made a big deal about it.  Suzanne was very upset about being fired and Dee comforted her and said that they were making such a big deal about it because it was Suzanne/Maggie.  I cannot find the article but I will keep trying. That said Suzanne's comments on Soapy about how some of the female cast members treated her during her illness was disappointing to hear to say the least.

      Anyway... Kristen should have a prison lesbian story arc. And then come out and become obsessed with Marlena so we can move her on from the Brady nonsense. Is that secret room still in the DiMera mansion?
