I'm pretty much in agreement on the quality thing - but I do have to say the other day with the Qs when Brook walked out on them was really good and damn near 1/3 of the entire show.

Today.... TRUCKY!!!!! wub.gif

Lucky on the phone talking to Mac about Lisa/Robin/Patrick. Tracy knocks so Lucky hands up. She has a job for him, sounding breathless and a little upset. Lucky says this ought to be good. Tracy rushes on to tells Lucky she'll pay all the expenses with 10K to start and more to follow. Lucky asks for what, and Tracy explains she wants him to find Luke and bring him home, and she wants Lucky to keep it to himself that Tracy is behind it. (She's looking rather sad and worn down by it all, actually.)

Smugly Lucky asks "you want me to track down Dad, uh?" Tracy says if anyone can Lucky can. Besides Luke will be happy to see him and will take him off on an adventure, and that's fine. Just bring Luke home when you're done. Lucky asks if this means she's ready to take Luke back. Tracy says definitely no. Lucky asks then what's the point? Tracy argues that she needs someone to be mad at, she needs someone to outsmart, I want to worry if my Martini's been poisoned. Lucky just shakes his head as Tracy sits down and starts opening her cheque book. Tracy continues to says she doesn't expect him to understand, suffice to say her family is ready to ship her off to Shadybrook with Alice leading the pack. So, Lucky says as he sits beside her, you're doing this for Alice. Tracy turns to him and asks if he wants 75K? There's plenty, just name the price. Lucky tell her he just can't walk away from his job. Tracy laughs that Spencers don't have jobs - they have inconveniences that bring in some money. Still, Lucky says, he just can't vanish. Tracy gets frustrated and challenges him with the question of whether he wants to spend his entire career goading his father? Has he not made his point? Lucky looks perplexed/amused/confused. Tracy gets serious and says Luke has been gone way too long. Someone should have heard from him by now. Lucky replies that Luke stole $10million from her when she found out the marriage was a fraud, and maybe Luke's afraid that she's going to press charges. Did Tracy ever think of that? Tracy softly says she doesn't want to prosecute Luke, she just wants to see him. And continues to say clearly Lucky is looking for a reason to leave town. What give you that impression? Lucky asks her. Tracy starts to laugh and Lucky asks what? Lucky, she starts, "I have been observing Spencers for a long, long time and you my friend have the look. It's the look your father gets when he's dreaming up a scam, it's the look Ethan gets when he's fleecing customers, even Lulu gets it sometimes. Look, you're going to leave town one way or another so why don't you make a little money while you're at it?" Lucky sighs as he contemplates what Tracy has said. "You want to raise a little hell on my dime?" she challenges him with her "got-ya" smirk.

Lucky obviously takes Tracy up on it because the next scene has Lucky on the Bluetooth talking to one of Luke's fences in Amsterdam. We also come to find out that Interpol keeps a very close eye on Luke Spencer, lol.

Lucky isn't supposed to be in Ireland that long, and since Lante is going after Lucky I doubt Luke will too.

And I concur about Luke back stat. I'm in serious LuNacy withdrawal and with the exception of the occasional Ethina I'm not finding anything to keep me interested. Big time lack of Spencers going on.

    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
    • None of the males are taking their shirts off every week, so we know they have some degree of acting skill.

    • What can I say?  I did my best.
    • Thank you for sharing. I guess Nancy was catatonic most of her time on the show, so I guess the gasps make sense, lol. I had heard Cathy and Dick DeCoit were supposed to be on the show longer, but Trish Stewart leaving changed all that.
    • @Rmodelboy Thanks for posting that On-set pic of June. She looks great, you just might be right about her being Hayley sibling.
