The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest

I doubt anyone was worried about Anna posing any threat to LuNacy. Just in case...

Rick Springfield is coming back to GH for a summer storyline. I didn't read any details, but with Anna coming back as well, it seems a likely scenario that they will revive their relationship.

Hoping for some snarky smackdowns by the Goddess of Smackdowns...that would be Tracy, of course. ;)

Anna is Tracy's smokescreen. She always recoils into her shell when she's hurt and tries to deflect the real issue. Luke is telling her what she wants to hear but she doesn't trust him or his words. That will only come with time. They had it up until Luke left in January - and I'm more and more convinced that was the Scabs and Guza would never have done that. Since TG is leaving early this year, I bet we are going to have some great LuNacy coming together over the next two weeks.

I do hope she gets a chance to smackdown Anna this summer, though, just to see her do it. And I want Anna to be contrite.

I believe it was the scabs, too, remos. First, there was the insinuation that he had cheated during the time following his escape from the hospital. (At the HS, he asked Tracy if "the details" would hurt any less.) Then, at the Q's about how it had been "many months". Tracy retorted that it was only because he had been flat on his back in a hospital bed.

Pigs must be flying because I'm starting to really like Guza.

Oh, and how good was it that we saw Tracy, CEO of ELQ.

So, this summer we get Multi-Tasking Tracy. CEO of ELQ, head honcho at the Haunted Star, and hopefully several vignettes starring Tracy, Queen of the Smackdowns.

*waving to funny*

I totally agree.

I was confused today when she said he was sleeping on the HS. I was like, 'huh? When did THAT happen?!?!'

They cut something -- either after he moved back into the mansion (remember we spoke back then about a possible cut scene) or after the Anna-silliness.

I vote for after the Anna silliness, because we had a lot of sexy flirtation at the HS opening.

Damn them!

To me this is AMAZING!!!.

Could be in my top five LuNacy moments of all time (even though technically it was Lu-minus-acy. hahaha!).

Folks, he called Tracy his once in a lifetime love!!!! Without missing a beat, he equated his two marriages. He made them equally meaningful in that one short scene.

I knew it. You knew... but, hey, most of the world has been too deaf, dumb and blind to know it! Now they know!

I wonder how much TG had to do with that line?

What he did today is a natural progression from the December closeness.

I'm THRILLED. THRILLED!

Heat, eh?

Sometimes those teases are a wee bit literal.

I'm seeing candles... lots of them spread all over the room.

I want romance and flowers, and a ring return. And then I want the ULTIMATE declaration from Luke, which in LuNacy world is: "Tracy, if Laura came back I'd stay with you. You." Le Sigh .

Hey, nobody has mentioned the 'Alice-Edward weekender' exchange. It was a pretty hilarious part of the conversation. Too funny, eh? VERY Luke and Tracy.

I knew how much you would appreciate today, Lainey! It was a long time coming and LuNacy has done the slow burn like nobody on soaps ever.

"Once in a lifetime" beats anything I imagined we would get. That's only because we're not used to such payoffs, at least not for awhile.

It was all there, though..."The smartest choice I ever made." "You push me to the edge of my experience." Those were all Luke ways of saying that he loved Tracy and that it was once in a lifetime.

But "I love you, Tracy" and "what I have with Tracy is once in a lifetime" just sounds *so* much better!

That was so funny and, yes, it was as LuNacy as anything. Poor Tracy. The hideous connotation of Edward and Alice is now permanently seared into her brain.

^^ and don't forget that Luke has now said he's faithful to her - twice. Imagine what Tracy will be like once she lets those words really sink in. NO ONE has ever said that to her or done that for her. My friends, that was even more meaningful to me than 'once in a lifetime, too'.

Listen... it's the wee small hours of the morning, and I've been waxing poetic about LuNacy. If anyone is over at SOC, I'd love the back-up.

Bravo Tracy, telling Luke off...

hey all!

Nex, Thanks for the clips!

LOVED LOVED LOVED when he said I am IN LOVE with my wife!!! whoohoo!!! Loved the way she walked out on him at the metrocourt too! what an exit!! and with such flair!! It was FABULOUS!!!

LOVED too when he said to Nik that Tracy is once in a lifetime! :D

Did anyone else besides me notice that Luke was NOT wearing his wedding ring in his scenes with Nik but was wearing it at the MC? Wardrobe mistake? hmmmm.... interesting.

If it was a wardrobe mistake, it's significant one. Well at least it is to me. heh.

Last week in the scene when Luke told Tracy he loved her she was wearing her bracelet and in the continuation of the scene the next day she was not wearing her bracelet, she put it on during this scene. When did she take it off?

    • I do not think I have ever agreed with Vee. Normally I do not read him, Ignore ya know. For some unknown reason I clicked to read. And I agree 1000%. Now, this is so odd that I need to go away for a bit.
    • Justine had a lot of hooey in it, but she was an actual woman, not a guy in drag. She was a doppelganger of Rachel, French, having had a past history with Carl, etc. Two of the more outrageous parts-Justine bricking alive Vicky into a wall & Justine grinding the gears driving a big rig.
    • Hehe, twi/x actually x, formerly Twitter. Typically I find 2 sources for "crazy fan rumors" - the wrong parts of FB and x. Oy.
    • Not to hijack the thread, but was that character Justine? I just found this interview online with Logan and see what you're talking about - wow!   http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/chat85.html

    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!
