Hi All!

Welcome back hooked!

The vid didn't depress me Ms. Q :). Of those guys in the vid, Luke is the best one, at least he loves her. Well okay I think he has issues with women anyway, but I think he is the best pick of the bunch. And I think TIIC are "trying" to move things along with them, so it seems. Look, we were surprised he said ILY the end of last year and Luke has been a little better in the affection department lately so, I'll cut him some slack for today. I just wish TIIC would keep them on the same side, let them work together in their schemes. I expect they will fight unlike any other couple but I'm just not into the "earn your keep" lines from Tracy or threats from Luke about blabbing about the will. Oh yeah, and the Laura nonsense. I think the last one mentioned is the worst of it, especially because he is not considering Tracy's feelings. Oh well anyway.... I think I just depressed myself. Nevermind. LOL

I'm half Irish -- My mom's last name was O'Connell

OK...I just was in the breakroom for a little while and that was fun. I have downloaded everyone's videos they have posted (MRS Q,,,I am not sure if I got she's always a woman to me one). I will check on youtube! Such big happenings when I was gone (Mrs Q on You tube!!)

So my trip was great. We were in san francisco for two days. Ate crab on the wharf, road cable cars, did the whole tourist thing. Then went skiing for a week in lake Tahoe. It was great to be better than my husband at something (he had never skiied before). Even after the week, I was still the best--ha ha!

Family vacations are great, but should carry at term limit. 9 days was pushing the limit. Every single one of them was on my last nerve by yetserday. I just needed to come home and have some down time alone!!! But it was fun. My boys snowboarded and my little one cried and hated it and I had to get a refund from ski school. However, he played in the snow while they had their lessons and we skiied so it was o.k. We stayed in a client of my husband's unbelievable 5 bedroom house, so that was really nice.

Anywya, I have watched four episodes of GH from when I was gone and just found ou the last three tracy's not on, so no big deal. I will watch all the videos tomorrow in between laundry loads and catch up on all the fanfics. I was thinking of my next parts of my story on the plane ride home today!!!

Really missed everyone here.

MinervaFan, hope you had a good trip and sorry you are sick. Hope you feel better soon.

Lainey...glad you are back too.

KnH can't wait to read your story

Mrs Q can't wait to watch your videos. Loved the photo wth baby molly and JE! Leave it to you to find that!!! The source of all things JE!!

Angel2Devil..sorry you had such a crappy day

Heard Newark airport was closed today. Bunch of pissed off people in San Fran this morning!

Hasta manana!!!

Glad to be back!!!

I hadn't been grocery shopping the whole week before we left either. I did buy a ton of stuff, but still...whew...we better eat at home this week!

Nothing to do with anything, but I just wanted to post cuz I'm psyched... I went to try on my dress for my aunt's wedding (I'm a bridesmaid) today. I had already tried it on a while back and picked my size and had everything all set, we just hadn't ordered anything yet. They, of course, lost my aunt's page that had all our dresses on it and we each have a different dress in the same color, so it was a lot to lose, so we had to go back today. I tried on teh dress and I am down 2 sizes since the last time I tried it on ta the end of the summer. I'm freakin physched!!!! no other way to say it. And not that anybody cares, but I'm saying it anyway!!!

hey... just watched the clips and that was the barbie and the rockers outfit I was talking about a while back

Wow two sizes! I would be freaking pysched too! That is awesome! What a great feeling. Good for you. ANd that is for sure news worth sharing.

I just watched those clips too. So funny. Those are all on those old dvd edits of ned/jenny. Nice to see alan defending tracy though back in the old days and not wanting her to get hurt.

AAHHH!!!! I just read it and I'm loving it all the way! I can't wait to get to the part you were telling me you'll write, but I don't want to give anything away for everyone... so I'll just say that. (I think it's gonna be great)!!

oh yeah, and Hooked, Ic ompletely forgot you wanted me to show you my portfolio at some point. I scanned and took digital pics tonight. I loaded them all up onto my computer and as soon as I can figure out how to send you the whole folder instead of sending each pic one at a time (there are too many for that) I'll have it out to you. I don't think it will be too long, but if someone nows how to do that, I'd love the help.

    • @Soapsuds Thanks for posting Night by night Mon 8pm The Rookies edged Gunsmoke but attracted younger(more desirable) viewers.NBC failed with Born Free/Smothers Brothers (how many different series did those 2 get??) 9-11pm  Maude/Rhoda/Medical Center dominated on CBS,but Football and Movies were competitive on an occasional basis. ABC tried  SWAT/Caribe later in the season and the former worked for them. Tues 8-11 pm CBS all the way Good Times, MASH, Hawaii Five O,Barnaby Jones. NBC had the fading Adam 12,Movie and Police Story mmm...don't see that listed? ABC Happy Days, which ABC decided to keep despite lackluster ratings, the Movie of the Week and Marcus Welby-once pulling big numbers but no longer. 8pm NBC had a new hit with Little House, easily beating Sons and Daughters, which was axed and replaced with Tony Orlando, which did much better. ABC had That's My Mama and the Wed movie. 9pm Cannon was the lead here as Lucas Tanner failed to capitalize on the LHOTP leadin. ABC continued the movie. 10pm Manhunter started strong for CBS but petered out and was cancelled. Petrocelli manged to beat Get Christie Love, which was replaced by Baretta-no ratings winner but ABC decided to renew. Thurs Another CBS night with The Waltons and a movie. ABC counterprogrammed with Odd Couple/Paper Moon then Barney Miller/Karen NBC did even worse with Sierra and replaced it with Mac Davis which improved ratings quite a bit. However, it was moved to 9pm for Sunshine/Bob Crane 9pm Some good numbers for ABC with Streets of San Francisco fending off Ironside,Archer and Mac Davis. 10pm Harry O had a slim victory over Movin On Fri 8-11 NBCs best night Sanford/Chico/Rockford/Police Woman. 8pm CBS had high hopes for Planet of the Apes but it bombed. Replacement Khan did even worse. Paul Sand and We'll Get By were tossed in at the end of the season. With poor lead ins the Friday movie didn't deliver. ABC's odd line up saw Kodiak flop, Six Million dollar Man struggle and Texas Wheelers  quickly cancelled. Kung Fu was brought in @8 and Six Million moved to 9. Then Kolchak took over at 8 and Hot*l Baltimore/Odd Couple 9-10. Despite controversy Hot*l flopped. 10pm ABC tried Kolchak then Baretta and finally Get Christie Love Sat CBS lead  with #1 AITF then Paul Sand/MTM/Bob Newhart/Carol Burnett. Paul Sand lost too much of the lead in so CBS spun off The Jeffersons and it was a smash. NBC did OK with Emergency (which beat Paul Sand on occasion, thus hastening that show's demise) and a movie. ABC was a disaster with New Land/Kung Fu and Nakia all failing. They introduced a movie @9 and moved Kung Fu to 8. Sun  NBC  with Disney and Mystery Movie (Columbo McCloud, MacMillan and Wife/Amy Prentiss)did well. ABC flopped with Sonny Bono and recovered by moving Six Million Dollar Man from Fri as a lead in to the movie. CBS hoped Apples Way would be another Waltons but no, so Cher did what Sonny couldn't. Kojak and Mannix successfully finished out the night. Two other shows on the ratings list were Adams of Eagle Lake starring Andy Griffith. Only 2 episodes aired and did well, so I'm not sure what happened there. As for The Law it was a series follow up to a 2 and a half hour NBC special movie .

    • Trust is very easily lost and very hard to re-build.
    • Oh, I know it was. I was just talking about how it's not giving me parallels to Caroline dying. It's really as far from it as possible.  But about the foreshadowing - Hahahhahah. Yes. And you missed one - Liam googling - "what is cancer"...
    • GH 2-17-21 Denise Alexander's last appearance https://www.instagram.com/p/DJdjXgwJ1Ez/
    • @Maxim This Liam dying out of the blue was crafted in a hurry for three reasons: 1. To facilitate JMW's leave 2. To prop Steffy - 'Oh, Steffy has so much grace and moral superiority that she ignored everything that swine HoLo did to tell her for the sake of their daughters. Queen Stephanie would be so proud of her!' 3. Distracting Steffy enough to give Lunacy an easy way to slither into Finn's life. Once Luna discovers that Lame is dying, she'll play that card: 'Dad, life is too short and precious!' If this was an intentional story, we would've had the typical B&B foreshadowing - Liam faceplanting into a bowl of pasta, Lame missing meetings, being forgetful. Instead, Lame does an impulsive quick quit and $B doesn't even care enough to make a single attempt to get him back? Please.
    • https://www.tvinsider.com/1180503/denise-alexander-dead-general-hospital-lesley-webber/ Alexander made her soap opera debut as Lois Adams on The Clear Horizon in 1960, but her big break came in 1966 when she was cast as Susan Hunter Martin on Days of Our Lives while still attending college at UCLA. As Susan, Alexander played a host of dramatic tales, including murdering her husband David Martin (played by Clive Clerk) in May 1967 after the death of their son. “She started out as the bad girl and was thrown out of boarding school for smoking and drinking,” recalled Alexander to We Love Soaps TV. “The character caught on and sparked something with the audience, and that is how Susan became an important part of the show. I was there for almost seven years…. I had such a wonderful time on Days. It was like going to camp every day for me. I loved the people, loved the show, and loved what I got to do. They loved the character and liked me as an actor and gave me lots of neat stuff to do. I didn’t even ask for a vacation for five years because if I worked 365 days a year, I thought I was great. It was a very good time in my life.” In 1973, Alexander was in contract negotiations with Days when ABC offered significant perks to the actress to join General Hospital to play Dr. Lesley Williams. Though Alexander loved her time in Salem, she decided to leave. “It was [Days’ Executive Producer] Betty Corday who sent me to General Hospital,” Alexander told welovesoaps.net. “She said, ‘You must do this.’ So when I went to General Hospital..."

    • Now that GL and LOL synopses are being added I'd welcome requests for specific soaps from 1976.
