I thought her b-day was then too. But then again on soapnet they have those little horoscope/birthday thingys and their latest one features Aries-Bo (OLTL) ShawnD(DAYS), and Tracy. So i guess they changed her b-day lol. Anyways, I hope its not him leaving, that'd be really lame.

Sweetheart, I run the easiest ficathons on the Internet. Write what you want, post what you want, just share the TQ Lurve! The deadline for this wave is April 30, 2006. After that, I think we should just decide on another challenge and start the whole thing over. BTW, I don't blame you for not wanting to do the adventure story. I spent more time researching my story than writing it--seriously. Of course, now if I get lost in the woods, I've got 10 hand-written pages of notes on how to survive.

Thanks angel!

Semi-OT: I was watching Family Feud today (I can't believe I spent my Sunday afternoon watching the Game Show Network, LOL), and I remembered when Jane Elliot and Scott Clifton were on it back in November for the Naughty vs. Nice Soap Opera Special. We've had a lot of new JE fans join since then, and if anyone is interested you can find the clips here. JE is a real joy to watch in-character and out-of-character. Just something I thought I'd pass along. :)

Hey everybody!

I haven’t posted anything here in a long time. Over the weekend, I did a workshop that went for three days and lasted 12 hours. That left no time for anything besides sleeping and the workshop lol. In fact, I have no clue why the hell I’m still awake.

Yeah, so, I missed Friday’s show. How was it? My brother says that there was a struggle between Skye and Tracy and Skye ended up falling down the stairs. He thinks they both were at fault, but what do you guys think? Was it a mutual struggle, did Skye just lose her balance, or did my girl Tracy actually intend to push her?

Thanks, Ms. Q, for the link to the fan fiction. :) I haven’t read MinveraFan’s just yet because I wanna really read it and not just scan it. I did read Oh Baby during one of the breaks at my workshop and I gotta say: I love it. I really like your characterization of Luke and Tracy’s relationship. You keep it serious, but I really like how you always leave room for humor. Oh and I downloaded the Family Feud clip and I'm gonna watch it tomorrow @ school

So tomorrow, my brother’s recording GH and I’m gonna try to sneak here during Tech and see what’s shaking.

Night! :D

Thanks MinervaFan.

LOL That's the main reason I re-thought the adventure story idea.

I thought of the research and then thought, when will I write it?

:)

I will read the stories/updates when I get a chance,I'm sure they're awesome.

About Skye/Tracy and the fall.

It looked accidental to me,and I think only the most rabid Skye fan would dare to say Tracy pushed her.

Hey,my girl's smart.

If she were going to push her, she'd do it with no witnesses around.

LOL

Nah,it was an accident.

4XCrazy, I'm glad you are enjoying Oh, Baby. :) As for Friday's episode...The Fall. Credit to Shaurice.

I blame both characters...or neither of them, LOL, because it was an accident. Tracy definitely didn't intend on pushing Skye.

Can't wait for our girl's scenes today. I just hope this isn't the only time she's on this week. :(

Just an update--I've created a Master List for the TracyQ Ficathon. I will just continue updating these as we go. If anyone has stories you'd like to add (there's a non-ficathon section), please email me or just add the links in a comment. I hope to have a complete list of all TracyQ stories online when I'm done with this. Thanks.

Thanks MinervaFan for the master list.

I enjoyed both stories.

I've gotten kinda lax in submitting reviews for stories which I need to catch up on,I have loved everything I've read in recent memory...TQ's a hard character to pin down and write for but I think most people here on this board have her "voice".

*Crosses fingers that Lukey defends his SpankyBuns today*

Loved the "get your hands off my wife." :)

I was smiling at that to beat the band.

LIVE Update.

Scene 1: Tracy tells Luke that Skye fell. Skye agrees. :)

Scene 2: Tracy tells Luke he shouldn't wear his heart on his sleeve. He angrily asks her if she meant for Skye to fall down the stairs. :o

Scene 3: Tracy tells Luke that Skye is clumsy and fell. Luke says it's hard to keep balance when someone is throwing insults in your face (something like that). Tracy says Skye isn't fragile; she gives it as good as it gets. Luke tells his wife she should be thankful for his defense. Tracy says Luke wouldn't let Lorenzo kill her because he needs her for his meal ticket. They argue about the 15 million dollars for the 39,342,281th time since they've been married (love my Lacy, but come on). Tracy threatens to sell the boat again. Luke meets up with Alexis about some kind of legal business.

Scene 4: I was on the phone. I have no idea what happened except Skye/Lorenzo were at the hospital, and Tracy's name came up a few times. And on the Haunted Star, Luke and Alexis were discussing something. Tracy showed up and said, "Told you so," but I don't know why.

Scene 5: Skye/Lorenzo at the hospital. Lorenzo is worried about her living so close to Tracy. Skye says it's fine. Luke approaches Liz/Lucky who have won again. He tells them to take their money and walk away. Tracy says that was a noble gesture, but she still wants her money. Luke tells her to stop doggin' his heels, and Tracy barks at him. LOL.

You're welcome.

I thought divorce, but since I was on the phone, I didn't get to hear much of the conversation. I heard Justus's name and "conflict of interest," but that's about it. A divorce was not the kind of surprise I was hoping for.

As for the reaction...Luke asked Tracy if she meant to push her, and then the scene ended on his face. She came back on after the commerical, but I missed JE's reaction because I was on the computer, LOL. Will watch after the episode is over and let you know. :)

ETA: Last scene: Tracy is sitting there timing how many minutes Luke has left before he loses the tub. He owes her $30,000. Alexis/Nik have some kind of plan. Alexis doesn't want to see Luke lose. Nikolas decides to bet...what else? 30 grand. Elizabeth, Lucky, Tracy, and Luke are all watching. "Mr. Cassadine loses, and so does Mrs. Spencer." Luke is excited. Tracy? Not so much. She walks away. Luke tells his Spanky not to worry. She can still work there--hanging coats. She gently touches his face and whispers that he's going to be the one working for her.

ETA again: Eeeeeeeeeeee! Tracy previews! Luke is on the ground. He looks like he's in pain. :o Tracy wants him off her boat.

I hate to think it too...but a divorce may be in the works. :(

I hate the games. I would much rather see them on the same side battling a common enemy like Helena.

I think a little harmless game playing every now and again, is okay.

But does Tracy hit him again?(going on previews?)

I don't like that.

I guess I could sort of understand her being upset about thinking Luke fathered Skye's baby.

But hitting/kicking/attacking over the HS?

I also think the writing is always unfairly slanted to make Luke look like the good guy, even when he's not:re: Coleman.

And of course Tracy will look like the villain,I mean I haven't watched and she sounds like it to me, for wanting to take LUke's boat away.

Let's forget he said a while back he regretted ever seeing it again or opening the casino.

All of a sudden it means something to him,and Tracy just looks baaddd.

Hmm,as if we expected anything different.

Maybe the spoiler will be something good.

*staying optimistic.*

More details...

Regarding the reaction: We weren't allowed to see Tracy's immediate reaction. Too bad. I'm sure JE would've have rocked it with just one look.

Regarding Luke/Alexis: It's all very unclear in the beginning, but at the end, Alexis basically tells Luke that since he embezzled the $$$, he is required by law to repay Tracy, or else she will get control of the boat. Then Tracy shows up and says, "Told ya so." I don't think a divorce is in the works. :)

Oh, and one point in the episode (during the $15 million conversation), Luke tells Tracy he is going to sue her. For battery. Tracy goes, "Ha. You should have ducked." I just thought it was cute, LOL. Not that I condone hitting. She better not hit him over the Haunted Star, but Luke has to end up on the ground somehow. *sigh* Semi OT--Luke didn't have the bandage/black eye from the get-go, did he? Think TG got into a RL fight?)

And a shallow note (a good shallow though, LOL)...Jane Elliot looked REALLY pretty today.

ETA: I re-watched the previews. Luke is lying next to an empty glass. I think he's just hungover.

    • oh, definitely! It's too bad she hit the start of a rough transition period for the show. She shines, but she's stuck with bad story and some (if not exactly bad) not great co-stars.
    • Thanks. I'm glad we have some fan memories of these years as this is such a typically snide take on the genre. It's also poorly written and reminds me a great deal of the tedious "snark" recaps that became popular in the '90s. The end in particular. The 1979/80 stuff I have seen is much more polished than a number of soaps at the time. It was very easy to watch and not too bogged down in past story.  Margo is played by Ann Williams, who was on what seemed like every soap. I think she said Margo was her favorite role.  These episodes aren't consecutive, but if you ever have time, they are worth a watch. They are bits and pieces from January and April of 1979 - April in and out of prison, her past calling to her via her psychic powers (and the suicide of Miles' wife Denise, who had murder framing in mind). April 1979 has the end of Winter Austen (such a fantastic soap name).  I don't want to drop a ton of links but you can find playlists on Youtube.
    • And the rating 'wars' continue...hehe.
    • Well, it was fun while it lasted for Rebecca Herbst. Le sigh.
    • I am wholeheartedly enjoying this show. I just haven't been able to post as much as I used to. But yes, this episode needs to be submitted for the EMMYs and there needs to be wins. I better NOT see Y&R, DAYS, or B&B winning in categories over BTG. I feel like the only show that is giving BTG an ounce of competition this season is GH.
    • I never thought the day would come, but too much MM for me.
    • I think it may be that the character was brought in for a specific purpose and then became popular with viewers, and the show didn't know how to respond.  The choice to pivot away from Simon/India may show that you are right and they didn't care for her...although pairing them up may be another sign they didn't care for her. I don't connect well with this period but it does make me happy seeing some of these characters before the great purge and some of the surprises - I'd forgotten the wonderful Maureen O'Sullivan popped up to be bumped off. So typical of soaps by this point, but it doesn't grate as much as later on when Y&R would bring on any random cast member from Small Wonder. I'm also amazed at this time at just how much money the show must have had. The costumes for the Founder's celebration in summer 1984, or whatever it was, looked gorgeous.
    • Which officially started to feel that way today with them hearing each other out as they confronted each other at the same time.    Same. He was even catching himself when he was about to go overboard or do those tics that people don't seem to like. He failed a bit at the end, but he carried. It makes me think about a month back when it was discussed that the actor was better in other things he's been in. And I questioned then if that meant that he was playing Martin more intentionally. I questioned that briefly again today because he was giving.
