I just watched the episode.  The Horton set appears to be exactly the same as the former set, including the staircase and a short glimpse of part of the front door.  It is possible the living room is slightly smaller -- less "deep" with the fireplace a few feet closer to the entryway.  But I'm not sure about that.  We'd need to do a side-by-side comparison, and I don't have any pics or screen shots.  Also, I suppose since we saw the foyer in the background, that means they will continue to use the foyer for scenes at least occasionally.  If anyone notices any differences or changes later, please post them here.  I find it a little hard to believe TPTB would destroy and rebuild such an iconic set without at least a few cost-saving measures.

Well, part of the truth is out lol

I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s scenes, especially those with Eric and Nicole. Greg and Ari always do really hit it out of the park in scenes like that. And from what we’ve seen, so can Dan Feuerriegel.

As for Everett, the storyline got so convoluted between Ron’s writing and the scab writing. I can’t help but wonder where they’re gonna go from here. Btw, how did Marlena become the Bobby-Everett trigger?

I wonder what this also means for Stephanie, because she was written kind of stupidly today. She seemed more concerned about Bobby-Everett than her cousin Eric lol But at the same time, it looks like, because of the scab writing, we were spared the campy bitchfights between Stephanie and Jada over him and that’s a good thing.

Well, IMO, it looks like this Bobby/Everett story is leading to DID.   I am a little shocked Ron is going to do it again after Abigail and the million times he did it on previous shows, but that's what it seems like.

I didn't realize Eric had to get Nicole and Sloan on the same night drunk at the small bar lol.  Poor Eric.

I am surprised Sloan came clean with at least part of the truth.  I really thought she would get exposed instead.

I turn into that bothersome lawyer/doctor/chef who feels the need to correct a TV show whenever they get something wrong about their workplace.  So, at the risk of diving too deep into Marlena's professional ethics, (1) How did Jada know that Everett was in treatment with Marlena? & (2) Why would Marlena break her client's privilege by telling the cops that he ended therapy?  For those wondering, a therapist is obligated not to disclose in this exact type of situation.  I recall Everett told Stephanie that he was seeing Marlena, and maybe she told Jada, but certainly Everett wouldn't have mentioned it to Jada.  They have hardly spoken two words to each other in the past year.

Also, if Sloan's confession turns out to be a dream or some type of false alarm... I'm gonna... (probably do nothing and keep watching, but it felt like a possibility) (mostly because it happened on a Thursday)

I don’t think Ron will ever give up DID. That’s his thing, the way that two siblings in love with the same person was Bill Bell’s

The storyline just had so many confusing arcs. Bobby-Everett running out of the pub when he first saw Jada, how Jada found out that he was cheating on her, etc.

The story has been really difficult to follow and does seem very slapped together as the show goes along.  I really thought Everett was going to have a twin or be related to Nick somehow.

Today, it has to be DID.  I don't see any other option to explain it.

Two siblings in love with same person is at least believable.  Multiple people in the same town having DID?  On every show RC has written lol?   I think I read somewhere that having DID or knowing someone with DID is so rare and a lot of those people are misdiagnosed as well.

Of course being possessed by the Devil is probably more rare and that happened multiple times in Salem, so whatever.

A lot of good acting in todays episode and not just in the main storyline.

Greg Vaughan stole the show. He conveyed the anger and emotion so well. The look in his eyes throughout the episode felt so real. He might even have an Emmy reel ready. The episode itself was written very well too. It’s didn’t feel rushed or paced in the wrong way. Ari Zucker did really well too, both in her scenes with Chanel and in the final scene with Eric and Jude. I’m looking forward to seeing this continue on Monday.

But as glad as I am that Dimitri/Peter Porte is not here to be squandered and is safe from Leo, I think it’s a mistake that he’s not here for this. He was one of the catalysts that set this whole thing in motion and him not being there makes it feel incomplete, regardless of how good today’s episode was. I still think my story idea for him would have been good though

As for Johnny/Chanel, I like the storyline but I just wish it was with other characters.

    • Eddie has begun uploading the 1990 episodes. I'm so happy about that. I was mindfully taking a break till there's plenty of episodes I can binge watch when I feel like it. Now that 1989 is complete... I can't wait to press play on February 1989 and resume where I left off.

Me when someone asks me to be proper and demure.
    • This is just a guess but I feel like the fact that they keep mentioning her dead husband is for a reason. We know Martin has a secret that likely involved someone dying. Martin's victim could be Alan which Leslie/Dana either knows about or finds out and she uses that to blackmail the family into letting her crimes slide.
    • Just thinking how the Ruth/Leticia guest spot really cemented how Days had changed. Stunt casting with a campy/comedy character in a 'wacky' storyline was something that a few years previously would have been completely out of place on Days (and most other soaps for that matter).
    • I am interested to see how they handle Leslie/Dana down the road. If she continues in this path, it would be unrealistic to have her around. Like other shows have done this with a 'villian' character and ended up with people looking stupid putting up with someone they detest. Another thought-could they be building up to a murder story? Maybe Les/Dan will be left in a coma and we will have a whodunit with several characters as suspect. It would also be a chance to redeem her I wonder how long the show will go w/o resorting to soap cliche stories-twins,switched at birth, murder mystery, long lost child etc
    • Yeah, Martin really did make me laugh when him and Smitty jumped up to drag Leslie out. I am interested in seeing how this fallout will impact his storyline as well. Especially since he is so protective regarding his family/family's image. I am interested in seeing how he will interact with Eva for the time being, they did have a warmer interaction earlier on once they met. But he seems to have doubts about her possibly being Ted's right now. I wonder how long it might take for him to come around with her. I could see the younger generation warming up to her quicker than the older ones. Though of course I think there will be anger/tension for a while regarding the reveal and her role in it. Perhaps Naomi/Chelsea will ease up on Eva first then eventually Martin/Kat might down the line. I really do love Nicole. I'm glad that DD is playing her. She really is the heart of the family and also agree the show. She is so easy to root for and I'm looking forward to seeing how things work out for her. I am enjoying the development of most of the characters on this show. I enjoy most of them including Bill with his trifling self lol. I do feel that Bill's love for his daughters is genuine and that gives him some depth. A few of the characters I don't care for that much (like Bill, Ashley, Vanessa). I wasn't too big on Andre at first, but I am warming up more to him as the actor is settling into the role. I like most of the characters on this show. Also, I am interested in seeing what happens if Eva indeed goes and lives with the new doctor that was introduced. I could see this adding another layer to her story, maybe she will become more vixen-ish, on what type of relationship they end up having. And/or maybe she will end up becoming more hardened as she deals with being an outcast, especially if she falls out with Leslie as well. I think that AM will do a good job of showcasing the different layers of this character as she deals with the fallout of the affair/paternity reveal.

Got another sad news from the Bahamian community (not a celebrity)  https://www.instagram.com/p/DJMSrYCgyes/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== Former Bahamian Senate President J Henry Bostwick, Husband of former 1st Bahamian Female Cabinet Minister Dame Janet Bostwick is dead yesterday on his 86th birthday.    Thanks and for those who've aren't familiar with the talk shows in The Bahamas on this thread here, his talk show named The Freedom March with Dr Rodney Moncur that airs on ILTV and The Beat 103.5 FM Nassau every weekday afternoons. IIRC, he suffered a illness before he died.  Here's the link for his final taping of the show before his death: https://ewnews.com/this-is-powerful-rodney-moncurs-final-sign-off/

    • One thing I thought about is if Hayley will have a reaction to Bill threatening to kidnap and sell a baby. That's another level of viciousness and with her just having thought she was pregnant it might make her feel some type of way.
