I do think little cameos by ATWT/GL characters down the road in the far future could be possible someday. They did it before in the 2000s. But it's far more likely they do crossovers with the other two active and well-beloved CBS soaps.

Look at P&G doing promo for this show and even acknowledging Irna!

God, I love this. I can't express it enough how much I love the open effort to acknowledge BTG as part of the classic soap framework. Our genre still has some life in her yet!

Small wonderings as we get closer to debut - I wonder if the streaming episodes will have actual closing credits vs. white text on a black screen. I don't think much can be done to extend that music, but I still want a nice crawl over a shot of the Dupree mansion or something.

Interesting question. I have noticed that sometimes, for other soaps, they had/have differently-displaying credits on broadcast TV in contrast to how the same episode's credits display on streaming later the same day.

A few feature pieces. LA Times: MVJ cites the inspiration for Anita and Vernon as "what if Diana Ross met John Lewis?" Very touching to see Ducksworth saying she was thrilled whenever Claudia appeared on GH.

This WP piece (which I evaded the firewall on by opening in incognito and stopping it very quickly lol) has some anecdotes by Tunie about ATWT and the issues with family representation there.

This WP article is great, and also has some wonderful behind-the-scenes photos, and spoiler pics (pics of scenes being filmed).

For the past nearly twelve months, we've been discussing on and on about the forthcoming premiere. Now, hours away, it has come. Talking with [most] of you (and you know who you are) for the better part of a year has been outstanding. And today, it all begins!! And I am looking forward to going on this journey from Day One!

That EW review was very positive and definitely sells the show well.

I am watching "Abbott Elementary" on Hulu and just saw a promo for "Beyond the Gates" on Hulu. Has anyone else seen BTG promos on Hulu?
