Dani isn't on my list but then again I've always loved Karla Mosley, even as Christina on GL. Nurse Ashley is one of them though. I'm curious how her character will fit into the show overall. The other two I'm worried about are male characters but again, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and see how they fit in the show before making judgements.

Ashley and Derek were by far the most painfully boring and uncharismatic part of the first episode to me. They kind of come off that way in the bits we’ve seen in the trailer now that I think about it too…

Dani is a character that will be highly divisive. That’s all I’ll say.

Maybe CBS thought of this already but it would be smart to air reruns on BET and make this show avalible on BET+. Can't wait for Monday!

It's not terrible, the theme is okay. It just needs something more grand, catchy and classic like Y&R or DAYS had. This has a generic power point presentation underscore feel to it.

It's amazing as time went on, and technology advanced, soap intros looked more amateurish such as GH's openings since 2010, and Y&R's 50th anniversary open.

ATWT's 2007 theme was really good but the visuals sucked!

The NAACP Image Awards are broadcast tonight Saturday Feb. 22.
Obviously there will be a promo for BTG, since NAACP is coproducing BTG.

Last night Friday Feb. 21, was the first ceremony called the 
"NAACP Image Awards Creative Honors".
A lot of the awards were given out then, including in key categories.

Maybe it's like the Emmys and Grammys having the key night televised with entertainers/headliners,
but the day before also has important awards, sometimes on social media platforms.

Clifton Davis and Karla Mosely were presenters last night for the Creative Honors.
Brandon Claybon (character Martin Richardson) was also there.

And the award is "presented by P&G." 

At the Paley event, there were quite a few executives from P&G present. They are very invested in this show, along with CBS.

I still find the P&G connection to be odd. Seeing them celebrate their success in developing soaps is so odd when you consider they do nothing with their back catalog. Even when they tried to do a streaming service with Walmart, they never used their soaps. 

I'd love if the success of BTG inspired them to revisit what they tried to do with their AOL streaming channel and brought it back. Of course now they could also add ATWT and GL since they're cancelled. Previously I thought this was a fantasy but it could actually happen the way things are going.

One example is the series' fictional version of HBCU (historically Black colleges and universities) Howard University called Banneker University. The name is a nod to mathematician, astronomer and author Benjamin Banneker and his contributions to Washington, D.C.

Tamara's hint of ATWT alumni appearing on the show gave me chills.

When I first heard the news of Tamara, I thought of Scott Bryce, one of her best friends, making an appearance or having a role on the show. I actually thought the role given to Jon Lindstrom would have been great for Scott.
