Members Alan
She was excellent as Rachel. She had such an easy chemistry with everyone on the cast. I'm happy that DD will play a role on BTG that will put her in contact with everyone in the cast. Thanks for getting the confirmation. I never watched GH (I was always a loyal GL partisan) but I have been watching clips and episodes from the 90s to get a feel for MJV and Guza's style. I wonder if she wrote the Kwanzaa episode. It was one of the most remarkable things I have ever seen on a soap, especially for 1994. Mary Mae explains the holiday's precepts and Keesha recites the story of Clara Brown.
Members Contessa Donatella
I've asked her for you. Let you know if/when she replies. It's funny I was what you might call a late bloomer both to GH and to GL!!! I was an NBC soap baby. Now I love these other channels.

Members Khan
It doesn't look "cheap," but it doesn't look distinctive either. It looks pretty much like all soaps and other shows do these days, quite frankly, which is good or bad, depending upon how you feel about such things. (Personally, I just want the acting and writing to be good).
Members Vee
The lighting looks fine to me. The sets, from what we've seen, look distinctive enough so far. Could you adjust the lighting a bit, sure, but I don't think it's giving Rauch's GL and that's all I ask. From there we'll see.
Members Liberty City
I concur; it's not giving Rauch era, either.

Members Alan
Interesting! Thanks for letting me know. If we are bringing back Clarence, we need to bring back the fabulous CBS Daytime promos with various members of the cast writhing dramatically on leopard-print chaise lounges. Members te.
TBH, considering the complaints US daytime soaps get when they deviate from the standard look of other soaps I'd say it's one of the things I don't think they should take a gamble on. I'd assume it looks in line with Y&R and B&B, hopefully a bit better. Maybe they can start experimenting a bit when it gets established as a show.
